When does this tiredness go away?... I went to bed at 10pm last night, got up at 8am, by 11 was struggling to keep my eyes open. I didn't have a nap, but curled up in bed, called my mum, chatted with OH, and now back on sofa watching Sleepless in Seattle.

Eyes are heavy, but am holding up. Was hoping OH will be 'brave enough' to go to a baby shop, but we just lazzied around all day. I am still in my pyjamas!

I have days when I'm knackered and then days when I feel like I can take on the world. It does get better in the second trimester though. Just listen to your body and you won't go far wrong.

I'm not tired today and I'm still in my pj's too so no need to feel guilty :p

Well I've just cleaned the bathroom, sorted out all the washing/ironing/inbetweens, planning on giving the living room a quick tidy and then making dinner and watching X Factor. Got a load of towels I'm trying to dry too.

When did everyone start washing baby clothes? I don't want to start too early, but then I have to think about Christmas/New Year etc when I probably won't be doing much apart from laying on the couch, watching crap T.V and eating chocolates! When should you be prepared by 36/37 weeks?

I think i washed our baby clothes about 4 weeks ago- so i would have been 31/32 weeks at the time.. Also did the muslins, sheets, blankets and babies wash mitts/towels/bathrobes.

That's great, well I'll be 31 weeks on Monday, so I will probably start this week, did you iron them? I'm not sure what to do :o don't want to go to the extra effort if it's not needed but I don't want to be going into hospital like a tinker :o

Evening all :D Hope you've all had a good day!

Good news about the tax rebate Gilly, hope your MA is sorted soon as well.

I've been at my nephew's first birthday today. We went on a steam train down near Peterborough, then back to their house for food, cake etc. It was a nice afternoon, even if my SIL did ignore me the entire time. I have no idea why she is like this with me, I have never done anything to offend her that I know of. Occasionally she is perfectly fine and will talk to me, but more often than not she ignores me. Ah well. There were sooo many children there though, it was actually really nice! Most of my brother's friends have children, I think they ranged in age from about 6 months to 4 years, so it was quite noisy! I enjoyed it though. Off out this evening to watch my husband take part in a charity kickboxing tournament thing. Would love to curl up on the sofa with a pizza, Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor but will just have to record them and watch them tomorrow... Have a good evening all! :D

Hi everyone and hope you have a nice saturday nite. I am going for a quick shower and then getting ready to head into the hospital for my induction tonight - glad its scheduled for today and fingers crossed baby appears tonight or tomorrow at the latest as I am fed up waiting = 11 days overdue - too comfory. DD is happy at granparents for a few nights.

I washed most of DD stuff I kept in July when weather was good and was able to hang out on the washing line and was off work (work term time) then I put in clean containers and ironed them later on before putting in their correct place. I do not think its too early to get things ready since it will take longer to dry as winter and coming up for celebrating time ie out visiting etc.

I have cereal bars (1 packet) and weathby hard boiled sweets and bottles of water in my bag but as being induced tonight hubbie will be sent away about 10pm and called when things happen so may not use them - but at least they are in the bag if needed. Last time I took rice krispes biscuits and mini cheddar which was appreciate by my mum and hubbie as I was in labour for a while.

    Bye for now
