    Done!

    Welcome to the thread :D

How has your pregnancy been so far?

Thank you :) Just started being able to enjoy it over the last few weeks as the feeling sick has gone. Loving feeling baby move around, such an amazing feeling! We have our 20 week scan a week on Thursday and can not wait. Cant believe that will be the last time we get to see him/her till April though. How are you finding it? Is this your first? It is ours. I feel like I have so much to learn, not to mention so much to sort out!

Ooh another one to try, if I can keep my eyes open long enough. I have no idea why I'm so tired, I'm sleeping good at night.

Another bad day. My boss is definitely picking at me and driving me nuts. (He didn't like my hand writing today, and then he was looking to the platforms on site, where client managed to catch me in the corner of one doing my work and said I "looked happy as always" - sarcastically, had to swallow the tears, and it is still is making me upset). I am only unhappy because of him and the way he works - if it is not done as he would do it, it is wrong. But - you don't know how he wants it until it is done!

And the blinking light (I am not swearing, it is blinking) above my desk is making me sick. It is getting worse and worse during the day. And the weather outside just turned for the best - with gale blowing outside and pouring buckets. At least I managed to grab a sandwich before it set off (another reason for not being happy with my manager - he kept diverting from things we had to discuss, so I couldn't get out to get any lunch until 1.30pm, by which time I was absolutely starving and instead of going to Christmas market to get something as planned today, ended up in Subway as the closest place to grab something!

Sorry, having a few bad days, I am not always like this.

You will be more emotional too ginvzt with the hormones so will probably be taking things more to heart. I'm not surprised you look unhappy, I was knackered my whole first trimester and I've only got one baby in there!

Does your boss know about the pregnancy?

Sorry you are having a pants time hon. It sounds like your boss is being a bit picky and annoying. Don't feel bad for getting upset though, i was all over the place in the first trimester, everything felt worse, and the more tired i felt, then the worse everything was.
Food wise, work will have to wait, if you put off eating, you will feel terrible. Make sure you always have an emergency snack in your bag- i'm still carrying cereal bags and little packs of dried fruit everywhere. Total saviour on several occasions when i've been stuck in meetings, on the road etc.
Make sure you get the light fixed. Flicking lights are horrible for headaches and sickness even when you arent pregnant! Ring maintenance and tell them you are pregnant and cant work till its done, or you will be sick on the desk!!

Yes, he does - he knew for a while since I was about 5 weeks, and he knows about the twins. However, the way he is behaving is as if he is trying to get rid of me. The things is - I might blow up in front of him one day, I have been very contained for the last 3.5 years, but I am pregnant and my patience is running low. He recalled me from the piece of work I loved, and keeps changing my project every week or so.

(The photo was from before pregnancy, it was a 6am flight offshore, and I was busy making notes of things!!!!!! He can't expect me jumping around in front of the client!)

If you really think he might be trying to get rid of you, then you should just stay calm, and not let him rile you. Also, make a careful note of all the events that happen, so you have a record should you need it. As you know, they cant discriminate against due to pregnancy, and MUST make reasonable adjustments. It is not reasonable for them to stop you having lunch..
