Female, blonde.. Hmmmm sounds familiar. But hey, i'm happy to tap into the pregnant excuse as well. It is also the best excuse i'll ever have for eating Hagen Daaz for dinner. :D

Hagen Daaz.... My favourite used to be praline & cream, but the last time it was too sweet for me (it is pregnancy thing - I am not even keen on chocolate anymore!) and I bought the white chocolate and raspberry, was lovely... The best - OH didn't like it, so all was mine!

REALLY?!? Grrrr! We got our Aton free though, so I guess it won't matter much but I'd have preferred a Maxi Cosi. We got the Aton and the adaptor but she told us in the shop that the only car seats that would fit would be the Aton or the Primio one, can't remember the 2nd word :o

Have you decided to go for the mylo then? What colour? :D

    Hello All :j

For those who are having problems with male bosses think its about time they had an 'experience' of pregnancy (a bit of violent vomiting, eating stupid food for weeks, backache, getting up to wee in the night every 5 seconds, tits that murder you know that kind of thing...) then they might be just a teensy bit greatful that you are actually at work..... remember ladies you are the superior sex for a reason you get to make people... they cant do that so dont let 'em drag you down ;)

    Gilly - Love the bouncer v.jealous.... :D

4nnabella - might have to try the remote trick, I still find it amusing when the blanket gets lifted in bed and in aint me or the oh

Will be 33 wks tomorrow and really feel myself slowing down  Followed hubby round at 99 year old granny pace at the weekend, he even moved the car from one end of the carpark to the other to avoid me walking further between two buildings.

Feel shattered today, went to sainsbos' and carrying the shopping from the car nearly killed me. As did moving all the wheeling bins including neighbours that had blown over. I swear I barely had the strength to fold some King size sheets to put on an airer

Am panicking slight as the house is a mess, christmas is not far away and dont feel prepared, still havent found the missing baby clothes... bought some scratch mittens, another hot water bottle, slippers, muslin cloths as a quick panic buy :rotfl:

Plus Dylan is officially the wettest stinkiest pup today :eek::eek: tried to dry him with a towel but he is yuck!!!!!! He has just 'buried' his leather bone thingey in the sheets covering the sofa and done the whole fake look I am making burying movements with my face OFGS!!!! I can see the bone FGS!! you have not buried it.... :rotfl:

And the blinking light (I am not swearing, it is blinking) above my desk is making me sick. It is getting worse and worse during the day.

One above my head was doing this last week. I got one of the lads to jump on the desk and twist it to off. It was a little darker, but saved me the headache until it was fixed..... :)

Gilly - that little bouncer is so cute! :D

It might have been one the 'limited edition' ones that seems to be around for ages, and I think I bought it Sainsbury's for £2.07 a tub (half price)

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/sainsburys-price-comparison/ice_cream/haagen_dazs_limited_edition_ice_cream_500ml.html

Ok, might have to ask OH to stop at Sainsbury's for another tub. Or, finish what we have in the freezer today and get one tomorrow when I go to the Boots Christmas event to spend money (have £5 off voucher, plus extra 500 points at the Christmas shopping event when I went last time there). Also, tempted to pick up my changing bag, but might wait till next week, when I will be over the 12 week mark...

They changed some bulbs when we moved in, but didn't help much.. I work for safety and risk consultancy, so someone jumping on the desk is a big no! Even standing on the chair is not allowed, as plenty of other things.

I am nearly going home. Finally! It will just take for ever to get back. It is probably to windy/rainy for the trains to go!

    Hi Ginvst,

I was going to say, I have read through your posts, and twice in my office over the years was I the unlucky one under a blinking light (Mind you our bulbs always go at home so OH says it is my "energy" :rotfl:)

Anyway, I was only about 21 and certainly not pregnant but insisted straight away on being moved to another room for fear of migraines or fits!! It was easier I suppose as I was in a windowless room so the dark wasn't an option.

When they took their time moving me or replacing the light on both occasions I emailed HR CCing everyone I could think of saying I would have to work from home.

I am glad to see you are working from home for rest of the week but while there, you could email to say it needs to be fixed for your return. It really is the worst, it sounds silly to say it is depressing, but I have been there :(

PS I have also been there with the boss, again when not pregnant, and recently left, I could go into that but the length would hijack Martin's entire creation, not just this thread lol
