Yea had cup-a-soup for lunch. Hubby has brought me some waitrose organic ginger biscuits so I had one with some chamomille tea which has settled things a bit. Hope I won't be feeling sick all day every day! As it was all day from the off today. Now I am really hungry and hubby is cooking pizza - means I can cut a slice as small as I want and go back for it later. I guess I am so shocked at the amount of food I no longer like. Do you still have some days you feel normal on? Or is this it now til the 12+ week mark?

I had some days worse than others. My diet consisted of Marks and Spencer cheese and tomato pizza most nights. Junk food mostly. But i just ate what i could stomach, and made sure I took my vitamins.

Everyone is different hon. For me, i was nauseous more or less every day from 4 weeks, not ALL day, there were times i felt pretty normal albeit tired. Sickness started about 7-8 weeks, and lasted through to 20weeks ish. Just listen to what your body tells you you fancy/can manage. It might seem random or unhealthy, but its whatever keeps you going till your nausea and sickness stops. You might find it is the same thing you want every day, or it might change at every meal! I ended up with fresh mango, jacket potato with butter or cheese, breaded fish portions, and toast with peanut butter for about 5 months!

(not all at once, just on rotation!)

Also is it just me or does anyone elses stomach feel bruised from there baby trying to do moves that aren't possible. I've felt like mines is about to recreate the scene from Alien all day and I'm feeling tender, I wish he'd stop it :(

Top of bump and ribs feel like that! Only 3ish week to go though. I was really lucky cos baby was laying transverse until 35ish weeks so I avoided kicks to the ribs and internal organs for the most part.

Try giving bump a nice massage. I love bio oil. :-)

Quick question - DH has just informed me that once baby is born, besides a Fri and Sat night, he plans on sleeping in the spare room. He said he needs his sleep as he's working. This has really annoyed me, but just need to know whether I'm over exaggerating. Is this what generally happens? I certainly didn't have this in mind! :(

Sammy If I had the energy... looks like a job for OH, God bless him, he massaged my back the other night and my feet last night :o

Mozzy  If my OH even suggested that (not that we've room) we'd not be having any more kids, because his balls would be ripped clean off! I've bought the breast pump so he can help out with night feeds, and if I'm feeding from the boob, he's said he'l do any necessary nappy changes/settling etc.
