How do you lot stomach Raspberry leaf tea? tastes like soil! Waiting for OH to bring bottle of blackcurrent up (I'm in bed) so I can fruit it up!
I'm going on mat leave 16th December, unless I can get bubba on the move before!! Wish I could go before, but theres alot on at work & I want the most time at home with baby after, going back part-time in Feb, then full time from April. Wish I could afford more time off, but life just seems to be getting so expensive. Still not got heating on (I have snuck it on for a total of 3hrs this month when it's been really bad) thats why I'm in bed! I feel like we have no luxuries (no sky, not nice furniture, most appliances are what family members were throwing out, except new tumble dryer)
both work full time, I just wonder where it all goes!
Lots of Braxton hicks today, still got alot of rib pain, even with baby engaged, so believe the measurements from scan as him being very tall (he was right up at that 97% line!) Hopefully long & thin is easy to birth!:j - DS - 7

Arghh another thing to worry about. Just thought I'd google painting and pregnancy and am worrying myself silly over the fact I've been decorating yesterday and today.
and how the fumes may be harmful.
Painting itself is fine, although going up ladders is a bit iffy with big bumps throwing PG ladies off balance. The only paint that is a problem is the stuff with the VOC's- usually just gloss. Matt and silk are usually fine. Not all gloss has Voc- the low VOC stuff is fine.
If you HAVE used high Voc gloss, then as long as the windows have been open, then you shouldnt have been exposed too much. The high VOC stuff stinks, so i'd be amazed if you'd managed to stay around in the fumes long enough to be affected!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

The gloss I used is high voc so am worried, the window was open slightly but I'm worried it wasn't enough:(:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

As i said, the stuff stinks, so i'd be surprised if you had managed to say in the room long enough to be affected. I also think its most dangerous in early PG. However, if you are worried, maybe go and speak to your doctor for some reassurance.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to quickly pop in and share my news!
I had my baby girl on Thursday November 24th at 9.43pm. Poppy was born at 28+6 weeks by emergency c-section and weighs 2lb exactly!
She is doing well and is in the neonatal unit at my local hospital. She is breathing for herself with just a small amount of oxygen to help.
I developed pre-eclampsia which resulted in the emergency section, was an incredibly scary time, but delivery was the only option. I've just been discharged today, but will be spending plenty of time at the hospital with Poppy.
Hope all are OK and will read back and add my birth story when I get chance.
Take Care.

congratulations hun. she sounds like a little fighter. remember to look after yourself aswel, and keep us posted on how she is getting on.x0 -
Back from first weekly shop with OH, need to buy stuff to feed him now, plus we got some meat and bits for Xmas, but only got 5p change out of £100 . Plus it took twice as long as he kept looking at everything; now I remember why I like to go on my own!
Little missy was going absolutely bonkers this afternoon and at teatime, I've had it where she's been quite active before but this was ridiculous, think she was having a Xmas party all by herself! Hoping it's a sign that she's ready to exit but can't see it.
Got a trip to IKEA tomorrow, I usually take ages wandering round but will have to make it a bit quicker this time. Have got a list and really need to be sticking to it; storage unit and associated boxes/doors/drawers, shoe racks and their £10 highchair (read somewhere it's easy to put in the shower to clean!).Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
Jannine. Congratulations. Hope you and baby are both well. Xx
Well, thought we'd decided on pram. Got a silver cross one on a babyplan with Mothercare, and already have a new cabriofix.
Now one of my friends says she's selling her Mylo with the carrycot and stand. She only wants £150 for it and I'm soooo tempted to buy it.
Can't find the paperwork for Baby Plan though, anyone know what happens to the money I've paid already if I cancel it?
Wish I wasn't so indecisive lol. X0 -
if you cancel the baby plan within so many days you only loose the £10 admin fee, or add other bits that you need to baby plan and cancel the plan saving the £10 admin fee. thats what i did0
