Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to quickly pop in and share my news!

I had my baby girl on Thursday November 24th at 9.43pm. Poppy was born at 28+6 weeks by emergency c-section and weighs 2lb exactly!

She is doing well and is in the neonatal unit at my local hospital. She is breathing for herself with just a small amount of oxygen to help.

I developed pre-eclampsia which resulted in the emergency section, was an incredibly scary time, but delivery was the only option. I've just been discharged today, but will be spending plenty of time at the hospital with Poppy.

Hope all are OK and will read back and add my birth story when I get chance.

Thanks, her Consultant is very pleased with her! She is a little fighter and seems to be very strong! She cried this morning for the first time and my heart nearly broke, its very hard not being able to pick her up and comfort her. Me and hubby are back to the hospital shortly and are hoping to have our first hold!!

Darkphaery, sounds like the start of SPD, take care of urself and slow down a bit!
Who mentioned trapped wind?? I had that the other day....then in um, "the throws of passion" (well if u can call it that when u look like a beached whale?!) It decided to make an appearance....both ends :eek::eek::rotfl:! Ooops! Good job this is baby number 4 so DH knows what to expect haha!
Seems there are a few of us expecting number 4? I hope what i`ve been told about labour number 4 being the worst isnt true :cool:
Doing the school run this afternoon and another mum commented that i was now "waddling" ah cheers love, like i needed to hear that!
I have obstetric consultant on Thursday and no idea why haha! Even my midwife isnt sure why i have the app, altho tbh, she isnt the best, and i`ve seen quite a few over the yrs!
Lots of braxton hicks again today

LOL. Might not be so easy to find out who i am tho'. Only 5-6 thousand people who work there.;)
