When i had DD3, the woman in the bed opposite me had her laptop plugged in as well as her phone charger and at one point her hair straightners too!! That was the Princess Anne in Southampton (one born every min hosp :) ) I`m going to be going to a diff hosp this time tho so really worried :( been told that i have to take in baby cot sheets, the baby milk if I plan on bottle feeding, and its about £15 for the tray of glass bottles in Boots. With all DDs this was all supplied, as was the first few nappies and even baby toiletries! My bags always been huge b4, but now its gonna be mahoosive!!!!!!!!!!!
I`m also worrying as b4 i`ve always had one of the midwives i`v seen in pregnancy deliver my baby, but this time my midwife will def not deliver me. Seems pointless getting to know her really!
My varicose veins in my legs r horrendous atm :( had 3 ops in the last 4 yrs and my left leg has really bad discolouration, all purple, red and black. Been so painful the last few days! As have the ones "down below!" cant remember who was saying about it the other day?? But i feel ur pain.....
Sat munching on a box of Quality street atm tho, so will be expecting a return of the reflux last this evening!
    xxx

I'm not even sure if they're pregnancy friendly btw :rotfl: but if they gave me relief I wouldn't be bothering. :D

I'm pretty sure they're fine... The active ingredient is Ranitidine, which is what doctors prescribe.

Hi ladies, popping in from 12 - 24 as it's quiet!

I just wondered whether any of you have experienced a panic attack in pregnancy? Earlier tonight I spoke to my mum whose been poorly recently and felt a bit stressed as I wish I could do more for her, then when I got off the phone I struggled to get my breath and had a few minutes of really gasping, I feel fine again now but am worried that it might have upset LO or adversely affected him/her :( geez I'm such a worry wart, now I'm worried about worrying!

Hi. I suffered with anxiety for about 3 years now. Was on 20mg citalopram until finding out I was preg. Had a panic attact when I was about 8 weeks preg. I rang NHS direct and they basically told me that baby would be fine and not to worry. I also saw my gp and she said the same thing. Babies are stronger than we think. She also gave me a sheet of coping techniques. *Touch wood* I have not had another attack since. Hope you feel a bit more reassured x
