Just wanted to say thanks for the amazon tip off. Bought the medela mini for £36.99 :) Such a bargain!

I bought the Medela swing off a friend. :)

I have 12 days until my due date- I'm sick of waking up with headaches. :(

Hi. I suffered with anxiety for about 3 years now. Was on 20mg citalopram until finding out I was preg. Had a panic attact when I was about 8 weeks preg. I rang NHS direct and they basically told me that baby would be fine and not to worry. I also saw my gp and she said the same thing. Babies are stronger than we think. She also gave me a sheet of coping techniques. *Touch wood* I have not had another attack since. Hope you feel a bit more reassured x

Thanks so much Lucy that's really reassuring, I too was on Citalopram in my final year of uni and for a few years after but CBT really helped, I haven't had an attack for six years so it was very scary and a reminder of a place I don't want to go back to! I slept really well last night and have woken up feeling more positive but will mention it to my GP next week so we can keep an eye on it.
  • Anymo, i`ve had a few this pregnancy. I was on 40mg fluxotine for the last 3 yrs (pnd with DD3) and had to stop them as soon as i got this BFP. Been very very hard. I hope it was just a one off for u and wont happen again xxx
Slept well last night, only 1 toilet break lol. Woke with a headache tho :(
Planning on doing not alot today! Made salt dough xmas tree decs with the girls the last few days, so might get the paints out today.......altho will prob regret that later when i have to clean it all up!!

Kind of related, but not entirely.. i thought i would mention it in case it happened to you, so you don't panic about it! I have found that i have had sporadic but quite frequent occassions of palpitations and pressure in my chest during my preganancy, mainly from mid 2nd tri all the way now into the 3rd tri. It is apparently very normal in pregnancy all due to changes in blood flow and pressure from the expanding uterus, and nothing to worry about, but it took me a bit by surprise, and it can feel rather like a panicky sensation. It may well not happen to you, but incase it does, its nothing to worry about!

I don't care either Gilly. I figure being 36 weeks and measuring large if she dont like the tablets she can always move out!! lol

They are perfectly safe in pregnancy, I take the morrisons own version (still 75mg Ranitidine) 6 for £1 if I cant get hold of any zantac. Still works fine.

You're very welcome. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. Do you find certain things/situations bring them on? Sadly there are no triggers for me. With the last one at 6/8 weeks,I just think the fact that it dawned on me I was having another baby may have gotten to me,even tho I was/am so thrilled to be having a baby. Def talk things over with your gp for reassurance tho x

You are tiny Mimi!!! I think my bump is as big as yours and I thought I was quite small :o

Well I say thought, text my friend (who's bump was even smaller than yours at 41+2) a picture of it and she replied "OMG you're massive" I thought I was doing quite well :o
