    lol jenjade!!!

thanks for the advice bumpmakesfour, think im going to have to invest in some muslins as i've been using burp clothes instead. We've ended up buying another airer, as we tend to do washing every day now!!! We go through about 3 sleep suits/vests a day plus blankets/ burp cloths, cardis plus our clothees which always seem to have something babyfied on it!!

ii think its almond oil laura, think boots might even sell a secialist oil for it???

breast feeding is actually going well, have about 2- 2.5 hrs between feeds, nipples are a little sore. Love feeding roo though as its so easy, no bottles etc. Although expressed for the first time yesterday and tried him on it today and he took it really well!!! So will try and do it daily so OH can feed him once a day. I only have a manual pump at the moment, the first minute or two hurts but after that its fine. took me about 15-20mins to get 2 ozs but this wasn't enough so topped him up. Pleased he took a bottle though :)

I know it's already been said but MEDELA SWING BREAST PUMP, usual price £100, is £63 on Amazon today as a Black Friday deal, they still had some left when I checked.

I bought mines at full price, got £24 worth of Boots points but still, boohoo!!

Great to hear from you missymoo! Glad things are going ok with you and little Roo (and I'd love to know what his 'unusual' name is, I don't know anyone who's had a baby recently, so I don't think I know you! You could always post it for a bit then come back and delete it later... :rotfl:) :D Thanks for all the tips too, always good to hear these sort of things :D

About the Medela Swing pump... I get paid on Monday  I have to put some petrol in my car over the weekend so don't think I have a spare £64 for the pump! Am sooo annoyed!

Its not silly! I think it is individual to everyone. Not everyone will get it anyway, some will be last thing, some earlier. I'm 35w and havent got one, but i do have some patches of chloasma (mask of pregnancy) on my face and boobs. Think i t all depends on your skin type, pigmentation and hormones.

Muslins are the one thing I never used to see the point of.Infact I didn't use them with my first two. Then someone bought me a pack for my third and we used them ALLLL the time.Using them on the moses/crib was a godsend and for this bump I already have about 30 folded ready in the linen cupboard:p
The washing..ohhhh the washing..yuck!I already do a minimum of three to four loads a day and finding it so hard to get stuff dried, hubby very helpfully pointed out last night that'll increase in a few weeks,FUN!:p
