I think I will go lay down at least for a little while. He has moved this morning, just really subtle movements :(

I don't have a midwife :( only my GP, and they won't be in today, I'll give it a wee while, just ate a load of biscuits so that may get him moving :o

I had a toffee nut latte today from Starbucks, then we collected our car from the shop (getting a section fibreglassed, which I can't do because I'm pregnant and too impatient anyway). Now I'm absolutely wrecked.
Funny,DH and I were talking about the poo side of things as well (how much our Saturday afternoons have changed!), as I was telling him what to expect in the next couple of weeks- was reading out emails from different sites to him....
Apparantly one of the signs of imminent labour can be diarrohea, which is such a nice thought! DH was telling me there's not much I can do about pooing during the labour, so why worry about it?
Gilly, have you tried shining a torch on bump, or setting something cold on it to get him to move-that was someone a few pages back said to try, I think.

Some frozen croquettes have done the trick, still not moving loads but had a few movements :o

Evening All :j (well its dark anyway!)

Am with missymoo re the p:eek::eek: thing 'la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaah'

Gilly - Glad bubs is wriggling again.

Jenjade - Re eating icecream to get bump moving always have visions of them wriggling because its a bit like putting an ice cube down their back!! I'd move a bit if that was done to me!!! Full fat ice cold coke sets my bubs off like a rocket :D

Seems there are a lot of car issues at the moment, we drove to MILS and when we got there (after hubby had pumped up tyres and noticed one was particularly flat) when putting some baby stuff in the car noticed a screw in the tyre :eek:  yes of course on my side. Garage have fixed it this afternoon (which does worry me but will see how it goes..) but lets just say hubby was catatonic driving home but that did not stop us going to KFC :oMight be worth checking those tyres ladies!!!!!!!! Think with dark nights as well its easy to forget to do it. Dont want any probs on way to hospital do we??

Had a call from Gp and have now just tipped into anaemic category (BOOOO!) do not want iron tablets so she has given me 4 weeks with doubling spatone to 2 sachets then will be retested
and if still low then :(:( Been and bought load of iron rich food today and some orange juice...

Hope you all are ok, going to watch x factor even though it is really annoying me now!!!

    Ro xx
  • Gilly I find doing my pelvic floor exercises make baby move. S/he may just be having a duvet day, I get them ever so often. It is worrying though :o

Jen that's great news about your BP :j

I need to get a tyre replace on my car next week. It has had a slow puncture since April and OH keeps inflating it, but it needs changing before the bad weather comes.

Clothing- I've lately adopted the green Mothercare dress that I bought awhile ago- trousers are starting to feel uncomfortable now, I'm starting to find I dislike anything covering bump,or sitting on it. The dress is nice and light, so easy to wear.

I fund a black maxi dress in my wardrobe that I can shoe horn myself into and I have worn it all week, people must think I am a right skank, but my jeans and combats are seriously getting on my nerves. nly problem is that the only shoes I have to go with the maxi dress are flip flops, so I look a right state with my coat and scarf and a pair of flip flops :rotfl:
"everyone will laugh at you if you put the moses basket in the living room and the crib in the bedroom"

What a bizarre thing to say. I have a moses basket for my living room, a crib for our bedroom, and a cot in Nursery.
