Lirin - I hope mine does not learn hitches tricks...
Gilly - yeah!!!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl: but its fixed now we think!!
4nnabella - I find its quite a novelty being warm as usually am a cold person, still wearing my maxi summer dresses around the house.0 -
Temperature, with that too.... I'm wrapped in a cardigan eating a fruit pastille ice lolly. Keeps me warm enough and cool enough- have stopped thinking about the logic of that.0

Bless you Kira! What are you having for dinner?
My internal thermostat is broken too I think... We went to the supermarket this afternoon after my nap and OH, after making comments about how cold it was, bundled himself up in his coat, scarf, etc then asked me if I was putting my coat on and I said I wasn't going to. We went out to the car and the thermometer said it was 12 degrees, which doesn't seem cold to me! But the way he was going on, you'd have thought it was -12! I didn't get what all the fuss was about...
We ordered from a great chinese place. I really only want the ice cream, but i've ordered some chicken sweetcorn soup and prawn toast for myself.
I totally get you with the no coat thing.. i always used to warm myself up on DH, now i sleep with no duvet no sheet, and windows open, whilst DH snuggles under a double layer duvet!
I'm now sitting on the sofa watching season 2 of dexter with DH, cooling down my feet in a washing up bowl of cold water and organic cider vinegar. Think i'm going to order myself a handheld fan and water mist spray. Was supposed to be for labour, but i think i might need it now!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

We're up to season 4 of Dexter, about halfway through I think but feel like I need to start it again from the beginning (of season 4, not the whole thing
) as its been a while since we watched it so have forgotten what's going on...

It's my favourite TV show of all time, and I am a major TV show fan at the moment I'm watching (Gossip Girl, Boardwalk Empire, Burn Notice, Vampire Diaries, Glee, Dexter, Blue Bloods, Hustle, X Factor, Pretty Little Liars and The Wire) Probably more actually
but that's all I can remember. That'l go to zero when bubs comes along!
Season 4 is the one with Trinity? If so it's probably the best season to date. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

My left leg has started aching again when lying on my left, because all the weight is on it, happened a lot at the start but disappeared, happening again, which is making me roll over onto my right in the middle of the night, which I don't want to be doing!
Gilly, the difference between lying on your left compared to your right is only a slight improved blood flow to the placenta, therefore sleeping on your right is ok. Millions of women slept on their right prior to this research coming out and had perfectly healthy babies. Surely it is better for you and baby for you to get some sleep rather than be lying in pain? Besides, it sounds as though it is getting to the point where you will have no choice soon if you are suffering. I alternate between my left and right every hour, not through choice but because of pain. Don't beat yourself up about it
Well, I am up for my nightly cereal feed, baby loves 3am and won't stop kicking until I have something to eat. I'm bored of Rice Krispies now and I've gone off Special K. I usually have porridge in the morning so don't want it in the middle of the night too.0 -
Gilly, as WW says above. I have to alternate sleeping positions as well, and every checkup I have shows a normal baby bang on the button for size etc.
As WW says, it's better to get a little sleep. It's at the stage for both WW and I where sleep isn't as much what happens as napping. You take it when you can get it!
I've been up on and off since 0130 from my own fault.... The only comfortable way I could sleep was facing the back of the sofa, on my left side. Normally I am on my right facing out as it's comfortable. Anyway, this was bliss, until I needed to get up to use the toilet.
Every way I tried to move I could feel tugging on my pelvis, and it was so sore.... I woke DH up, who went into panic mode immediately thinking baby's coming (and I also discovered that rathr than a gentle nudge and a Hollywood romantic 'Sweetheart, our baby is coming' wakeup, it takes shoving him off the sofa in reality and a loud 'Hey! You! Wake up!').
He scooped me off the sofa as I couldn't turn. Cue big gunshot sound from pelvis again, and ever since, I've been in agony and my right leg is draggy. Will be one of those days, sigh....
I love being up at this time in the morning though. DH and DSD are still asleep- even the mafogglies didn't stir when I went into the kitchen. Everyone's peaceful and quiet, until.....0
