Oh I got through a whole load of Fox's Vienese Biscuits earlier, they were stale too and I still ate them. Also ate a whole large pack of Doritos yesterday, so I'm a big heifer some days, just today I've not been in the mood to eat really. Was gonna order Dominos but probably would be a waste as it'd give me heartburn and wouldn't be able to eat a whole one.
On another note, our neighbours never take there bin out for collection, my OH has taken it out a few times, but stopped because they didn't respond in anyway for him doing it (and surely they must have noticed they had an empty bin) and after having a party this week obviously thought they'd dump all there binbags in ours, so today I took them out and just laid them next to their wheely bin. I feel quite bad now because there are 4 of them and only 2 of us, so we probably could have left them in and still had space for our rubbish as we still get weekly collections here. What annoys me is, the fact they don't empty there bin at all, if they emptied it every week and were struggling for room I wouldn't mind them using ours. God what a long paragraph for a lot of rubbishThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Oooh that soup sounds nice Gilly
We've got homemade potato wedges in the oven and are going to have burgers with them.
I had a nap today, first time I've had to do that! Plus I was dozing on the sofa when OH was cooking dinner last night... This appears to be the beginning of the end :rotfl:
Pip has had a few quieter days lately, and when s/he does move, it seems more subtle than before. I was wondering whether s/he's just running out of room or something? I have been trying to pay attention to the times of day when I do feel movement, and what seems to be Pip's pattern is that I get quite a long period of movement around 6.30am, which is normally when I wake up, then more sporadic movements during the day, and then another prolonged period of movement in the evening, especially after dinner.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Gilly - your neighbours are idiots, we have a house that is behind us that have a couple of dogs one little thing and one which looks like a big bity kind of dog but think it is harmless except it seems to get out and take itself for walks over our front lawn & down the road. Not sure if the owners know it gets out or not but it enjoys chasing the cats etc general mischief people walk up the road and look confused as to where are its owners etc hubby refuses to say something until bubs is here. One morning Dylan spotted it and went nuts barking at the window, even he know he should not be out with out its owner!!
4nnabella - the movement thing is inconsistent for me, times like you say when you wake up, a bit during the day maybe lunchtime and early evening. But there are days when it only shuffles/rummages, but yesterday and today it has gone bananas so surely tomorrow it will be a quiet one but who knows!! I just think as long as they move then I am happy. I do think he must have less space as he objects when I turn on my side sometimes in bed and he seems to stretch a bit too.0 -
It's very yummy, we're due a shop soon, but we had such a big one last time, I'm trying to make it stretch out but it sucks when all the nibbly things are gone, and all that's left is boring food. I'm determined to make it last us though so will just have to soldier on, trying to run everything down too, so I can start the batch cooking and stocking up on things, I've had weetabix for breakfast every day for the past 2 weeks almost.
I'm glad others are feeling the same, r.e the movements. Normally he's bouncing from side to side, so I suppose when I don't get that I worry, but as OH said he's probably just tired today, I know I amAll this worry before there born and then I'll be one of those neurotic mothers who can't sleep because I need to check he's breathing constantly

Oooops. just had a hormonal tearfest meltdown at DH cos he said we could order dinner in tonight so that we could get some soft drink and icecream, and then just went and reheated himself some pizza for dinner instead.. cant face pizza as that is what caused the acid hell last night.
Think i just got a bit hungry and over heated (my internal thermostat is totally bust at the moment!), and suddenly having no icecream was the end of the world!
Dh reacted suitably well- food now ordered. 2 x tubs of icecream and masses of drinks ordered plus dinner, my choice, cost no limit. bless.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

... x-factors going well this year - technical problems:rotfl:
might not be watching it after all...0 -
Gilly- If you're worried about movements, I have a doppler you could borrow/ have? I'm unlikely to need it when party tricks at this stage include prising my ribs apart, reenacting scenes from Alien, and using my blader as it's first squeeze toy.
Was at MIL's for dinner, who took one look at my stomach, disappeared into a bedroom, and reappeared with three bags of stuff for Hitch, telling us we may as well take them now as it could be any day..... Everything from baby powder to knitted jackets!
Can only walk a slight distance now, it's disgusting..... Keep getting very breathless, and it's sore too... Not much, but enough to make sure I'm not walking anywhere I don't have to.0 -

Bless you Kira! What are you having for dinner?
My internal thermostat is broken too I think... We went to the supermarket this afternoon after my nap and OH, after making comments about how cold it was, bundled himself up in his coat, scarf, etc then asked me if I was putting my coat on and I said I wasn't going to. We went out to the car and the thermometer said it was 12 degrees, which doesn't seem cold to me! But the way he was going on, you'd have thought it was -12! I didn't get what all the fuss was about...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Ro Is that why I've turned it on and it's crappy auditions?
Lirin Thanks, I think that would make me more paranoid thoughtook the doctor 15 minutes to find the heartbeat with her little machine at the surgery the other day. How nice of your MIL
I'm going to see mines on Monday, haven't saw them in weeks and weeks, they've been on holiday, we've been busy etc, said she's got loads of stuff from America for us, so I'm excited!
