Sorry to hear about your iron levels. Good that you are already having the vitC with the iron to help absorb. Its worth trying to up your calcium too- ideally you need plenty of all three to get maximum absorption of any of them.

Gillyx - I'm at the same stage as you and I've been noticing quieter days than others for the last two weeks or so. I know it's impossible not to worry, my m/w said that as long as the times of the activities are roughly the same, the amount and strength of movements didnt really matter. She also said if I really felt something was wrong to take myself of to hospital for a check up ( out of hours). When I get a bit worried I use the Doppler and/or the torch, for just a quick bit of reassurance. I've not tried frozen peas on the stomach yet. Hope that helps a little ;)

I think he probably was moving but I'd blocked it out because I was panicking so much :o had to concentrate hard to feel him but all is well, the minute I stopped thinking about it he was moving about again.

My left leg has started aching again when lying on my left, because all the weight is on it, happened a lot at the start but disappeared, happening again, which is making me roll over onto my right in the middle of the night, which I don't want to be doing!

..... Thanks Kira, I had been taking just one sachet with apple juice but am going to do 2 with orange juice. It a bit catch 22 though as I had been trying to increase my calcium intake by eating muller corners and babybels (as I dont have milk) but I have read that calcium interferes with absorption of iron  so think that I need to not have my sachets or high iron food at the same time as calcium rich stuff if that makes sense!!!! :o

.... Jenjade think you are really lucky with the iron tabs being ok for you. I had them (or tried to have them) in the past and could not tolerate them at all.
I am thinking that if my levels dont go up I might even ask about having an injection if thats possible? as I would prefer that to iron tablets!!

Oh the joys of pregnancy!! Just wish that I had taken spatone from the start of my pregnancy but did not want to take something that I might not need or cause any problems :o

I'm going next week for my re do of the bloods and hoping my iron levels haven't changed too much, they were really quite high last time, so hopefully they're still acceptable. We're getting through 4 pints of milk every 2 days though, so hopefully that is helping slightly

May have to try the pillow thing tonight as it's really aching! I think I've lost my glow, was a good few weeks there I wasn't requiring naps, and was full of beans, it's sort of went downhill, I'm assuming that's it now? :( ha.

Having some lovely home made carrot and coriander soup for dinner with a crusty bagette and waiting on X Factor coming on. Hate when OH works lates at the weekend, in reality it's no different to midweek but it sucks!!

Any glow is being dampened by having the lifeblood sucked out of us by bubs just nicking everything  is it any wonder we feel tired! I wanted to go upstairs at 5 but fought the urge buta am now lounging in bed waiting for x factor.
Can imagine its frustrating when oh not home.
You are very virtuous with your T :D
after my lunch of KFC (with orange juice for iron absorption:rotfl:)
I ate a large spiced sultana cookie
cheese, crackers, tomatoes and plum chutney
    a brandy:eek: minced tart about 4 0clock
and just had a while ago pitta bread and lemon & coriander houmous (as we had ocado delivered and it was calling me :o)
