Morning. Had a lousy night due to hubby's cold making him snore:mad: Now it looks like i'm coming down with it too:(

On another note,I think we've finally decided on a name for daughter.....Amelie Grace. Amelie is the french version of my late nan's name Amelia and its also one of my hubby's fav films. So it seems apt somehow x

Am I right in thinking we have a lady who works for Boots here? :) I've been looking for a Pebble, and they've just got them back in stock online. Just wondered if there were any more big points offers coming up, or if the current triple points on car seats is the best I'll get? :) Thanks.
  • Hi everyone i havent had a chance to catch up congratulations to all the new mummies and labour vibes to anyone needing them.

my stepdaughter had her scan tuesday and she is due on 23rd may, 2 weeks after me. spoke to mother in law and she said there is no way she is giving the cot and pram to her so i can still have them, they were used for all of my babies and for dh (obviously not the pram thats only been used for one baby) the sickness seems to be settling down a bit thankfully.

    4nnabella, I think

Thanks, WW, today is my last day! It's strange- I've worked all my life, I know baby will be hard work, but right now, with no baby in my arms, it feels like I'm taking a long holiday. I know reality will soon prove different!

It's weird. My replacement is good, and learns fast, and I'm suddenly a little possessive of my job- which is a fairly unimportant one, TBH.

Tinktink, congratulations! Wow, you were due only 2 days before me- Theodore is such a nice name.

Not read back yet, so apologies if duplicated....

For anyone with babyplan at Mothercare - there's a 10% code at hot deals (code DPYG). I've just called to get them to match it for my cotbed mattress (all the other things on my babyplan have already been priced matched for better than 10% - lol) :D

  • Hi Ladies :)

Congrats Tinytink! Omg 4 weeks early - makes me nervous I've only 10 weeks to go and I should be more prepared just incase :O

Aimless - The next Boots points event is either the 30th November or 1st December (£50 spend = £12 points) instore and I think it's on both dates online and you can get £12 worth of points when you spend £75 - I'm eyeing up the Cabriofix and hoping it's still on offer by then.

Lucy1973 - That's such a pretty name :) I'm just getting over a cold too, everyone seems to be getting one at the moment!

As for me and bump all is fine apart from some indigestion. I need to learn to eat smaller portions... which is easier said than done when a large pizza is sitting in front of me lol. My oh is a bad influence on me tut tut (that's my excuse anyway)

Jenjade definitely, if one more person tells me I don't need something that I've bought or want to buy I will not be liable for my actions. I feel like screaming that it's my first, and I want to buy these things. I've not went overboard, but some things I just want, I've bought very few outfits, infact only 2, and one is a summer thing :o but I've bought quite a few babygrows and OH's mum keeps going on about how I have too many, I have 9 ( I think ) 0-3m, hardly a truck load and I bought them because I like them and I assumed they'd get used

On another note, about to stick a wee M&S apple crumble into the oven, it said on the packet it feeds 2, but it's teeny, so it's all for me :D

With DD1 I got lots of clothes as presents etc but very few people give you sleepsuits so 9 is a good number to start off with and no doubt you will probably need to buy a few more when baby is here in pink or blue. I have about 15 sleepsuits from DD1 which are neutral and I am sure that this will be ok to keep me going ie several changes and trying to keep up with washing of the whole family.

    Congratulations tinytink. Xx

Just a quick question ladies, how many packs of size 1 nappies and baby wipes have you all bought for baby? I have 4 packs of size 1 (44 nappies in each) and 3 packs of baby wipes.
I am going to join asda baby club so I can get the voucher for the free huggies pack. Then I was thinking that would be enough. If anyone can help id be very grateful. Thanks ladies.

Thanks for that, I'm not sure I dare wait to buy it in case it goes out of stock again. :D Especially as I'll only have 4 weeks to due date by then. :) May be safer just to take the triple points and have it in hand. :)

And if you go via a cashback site to order online, you might be able to get the triple points AND cashback.. Topcash back are doing 6.06% on baby items for new online customers, 2.52% for existing online customers. :D
