Haha Jen that's fantastic! Mine does similar but not half as lively as yours!
I have no idea which was round Pip is facing. At the midwife last week she said s/he is head down but I have no idea if s/he's facing the front, back or side!
BM - I have now completely lost my train of thought from earlier but others have said what (I think) I was going to... Along the lines of as long as baby has somewhere to sleep and something to eat, and a car seat to be brought home in then everything else will fall into place.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Redhead you've freaked me out with the could be a girl story. :eek:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

i think we all get a bit caught up with what babies need. They don't actually need that much really. It just makes us panic!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

Sorry ladies i will read back in a mo. Just after some advice really.
I've got chest pains again. Don't know if its worth ringing the doctors in the morning to see someone. Been quite painful for half an hour. Baby has been kicking up in the ribs today so don't know if thats having some affect on my chest? Also, maybe my posture as i know i do slouch and i am sitting on small chairs at work?
Also, had a couple of 'funny' moments at work today where i just suddenly felt hot, only lasted a few seconds. I do suffer from low blood pressure so don't know if that could be the reason why?!0 -
hey Lauralou- it might be worth contacting the doctors. Can you breath more easily when you lie down? i was short of breath a few days ago i think baby was in a bad position (not that she is ever in a good position) and i led flat and could breath then she moved and i was okay again:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

Jenjade definitely, if one more person tells me I don't need something that I've bought or want to buy I will not be liable for my actions. I feel like screaming that it's my first, and I want to buy these things. I've not went overboard, but some things I just want, I've bought very few outfits, infact only 2, and one is a summer thing
but I've bought quite a few babygrows and OH's mum keeps going on about how I have too many, I have 9 ( I think ) 0-3m, hardly a truck load and I bought them because I like them and I assumed they'd get used
On another note, about to stick a wee M&S apple crumble into the oven, it said on the packet it feeds 2, but it's teeny, so it's all for meThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Thanks jenjade. I tried sitting back against some cushions but it just may the pain worse so i didn't fancy lieing down. Think i will see how i get on tonight whether to go to docs or not.0

hello, just thought i would check in, am 39 weeks today.
hope you're ok ravenlady
lauralou i was out of breath through a lot of my early pregnancy, but didnt get chest pain may be worth speaking to a doc.
lirin sorry you're hurting hun, I hope everything eases soon.
Just read back through, bless you BM, I feel like you do sometimes, its just hormones and it is a big change in life, but a fantastic one, its natural to feel like its too soon or you're not ready, I only have a week to go and still don't feel ready to look after a tiny little person!
Jenjade, my bump does exactly that it is crazy isnt it, really hurts when he does it in the middle of BH though!
For all of those getting worried about the L word, I am majorly worried, am trying my best to not even think about it, not sure if that is the best way or not lol.
lucy with regards to newyork, I went to venice for a week when I was 27 weeks, was very hot, I was fine though, but there was no way I could have done it any later, by 30 weeks I was struggling to walk as far.
Shoes, I have to get OH to take off, I have nooo chance of reaching them.
Mr knight,I have a carry on luggage case, and have everything in it including 6 vests and babygrows and two towels, and a pack of nappies and big maternity pads, as well as two night shirts, slippers, dressing gown etc, took me ages to pack it all so it fitted but I managed it.
Have had quite a bit of pressure down below today but nothing yet.
Lol eyeliner, I wouldnt worry there is no way im going to be early, this baby is making no sign at all of coming soon. Although I have an appt next thurs as you do, are you having a sweep if baby isn't here by then? Midwife offered me one.
oooh all the talk of lasagne, I had chicken pie for tea, and am having a warmed up mince pie later with cream, yum yum.
Right getting in the bath.

I don't know what they'd make of my 38 age 3-6 month vests then!In my defence, most of them were given to me. The majority of my baby clothes cost 4 for a pound or similar, so I figure I can have anything that looks cute.
Still got backache, very annoying. And I can't even think of a trip to the nurse to double check for a water infection, cos I have to wait in for the pram, again! Hopefully I'll sleep it off, as I have a 3 hour drive tomorrow eve.0
