I don't know what they'd make of my 38 age 3-6 month vests then! :D In my defence, most of them were given to me. The majority of my baby clothes cost 4 for a pound or similar, so I figure I can have anything that looks cute. :D

Still got backache, very annoying. And I can't even think of a trip to the nurse to double check for a water infection, cos I have to wait in for the pram, again! Hopefully I'll sleep it off, as I have a 3 hour drive tomorrow eve.

I do appreciate people are well meaning but it does get a bit tiresome :( Obviously before making a big purchase I'd prefer if someone told me it was a waste of money, but we're hardly bankrupting ourself for some vests and baby grows. And  that's a lot of vests. You'l use them though, can't go wrong with a vest :D apparently.

Oh man seriously over estimated my eating abilities could only eat half the apple crumble (yes it was meant for 2 people but still :( ) Gonna wrap it up, hopefully it'l be okay for tomorrow!

  • Hi all

    Queue jumper here !!!

Just got out of hospital so thought I would do a hick post.

Baby Theodore was born 07/11/11 @ 35+6 weighing a healthy 6lb1oz by emergency c-section due to him being breech :(

Waters broke on 05/11/11 but no contractions so kept in for observations

Only got to 3cm naturally after being in labour for 4 hours an internal found him to be breech @ 3.30am 07/11/11 quick decision on the safest way to deliver and straight to theatre for preparation baby delivered @ 7.23am.

    4 weeks 1 day early

All very unexpected and I feel like it is a dream and im going to wake up soon still pregnant LOL

    Hope everyone is OK

    Labour vibes to boldies

    Tink xx

I can't work out why the person who gave them to me had so many that size! Luckily, I'd only just started looking for 3-6 stuff, so I haven't really duplicated. :D Lol, next time the other half visits tho, I think he might be surprised at the amount of stuff I've got since he was last here. :D

I seem to have lost my appetite now, I had a Quorn Tikka Masala and a choc orange bar, and I feel stuffed!

I've had a 1/4 of a lasagne and that apple crumble, but not ate much today at all so no idea why I'm like this, feel bad as had sent OH to the shop for biscuits as I wanted something nice to nibble with my tea, but don't want them anymore. I feel like baby is stretching over into valuable stomach space!!

    CONGRATS TinyTink :)

My baby is head down, facing the back, I can feel his bum now when I touch my stomach, which is so weird, his bum is so high up though, it's like he's sticking it out at me :o

Sounds exactly like my baby, s/he has has bottom sticking out on my left hand side for weeks now and sometimes it is so prominent. It sticks out so much that midwife now thinks it could be the head and that I might be breech, but s/he was like that at my last scan and was defo head down.

Sorry ladies i will read back in a mo. Just after some advice really.

I've got chest pains again. Don't know if its worth ringing the doctors in the morning to see someone. Been quite painful for half an hour. Baby has been kicking up in the ribs today so don't know if thats having some affect on my chest? Also, maybe my posture as i know i do slouch and i am sitting on small chairs at work?
Also, had a couple of 'funny' moments at work today where i just suddenly felt hot, only lasted a few seconds. I do suffer from low blood pressure so don't know if that could be the reason why?!

Laura have you got a birthing/gym ball. Sitting on one really does help by creating extra space for baby to move and easing the pressure on you and your organs. I think you should ring the GP or MW though just to be on the safe side.

My random nose bleeds seem to be increasing, I was lying in bed last night and sat up to talk to OH when he came to bed, and my nose just started bleeding, and it went on for ages. I finally lay down with a tissue stuck up my nostril ..... pregnancy is just so attractive :o

I'm now wondering if it is worth going back to bed, I woke up at 3am dreaming about work and redundancy and haven't been able to stop ruminating on it since. I've got to get up in about 90 minutes, is it worth it to try and sleep as I'll probably wake up feeling like rubbish if I do?

    Morning all.

Congrats Tiny Tink, he's a good weight for 4 weeks early!

BlueMonkey - my advice would be.....you need a list lady!! Get it all written down then you can see exactly what there is to do, prioritise it and then see the progress you're making as you tick things off. Like the others have said though, get a car seat and some where for bubs to sleep and you'll manage! Its such a stressful time for all of us but you've had the added stress of moving halfway across the world and all the work stuff too so its no wonder its getting a bit on top of you!

WW - my nose bleeds a little bit every time I blow it...which is a lot at the minute! It doesn't bleed much but its still annoying, especially when I'm sat in a meeting with a blood spotted tissue....nice!!

I've gone off food again. I just want to eat plain chicken! Although we did have Nachos last night thanks to Lirin mentioning them the other day!!!

I have an extra scan on monday to check out my cervix as I had some treatment following an abnormal smear 18 months ago. It's an internal scan. has anyone had one before? just wondered if you get a good look at baby too!
