Oooh, £10 from Top Cashback on the car seat is pending already! Am quite pleased with that bit of bargain hunting.
I phoned to ask for a form because I'm self employed, the woman on the other end asked me hundreds of nosy questions about myself and my partner, and when the form came, none of that info was on it or needed. I was fuming. They wanted to know his job, how many hours he works etc, where he lives, which is totally irrelevant to my claim. Also kept asking me things like 'are you looking for work?' or 'what kind of work are you looking for?' and I kept saying, I've got a job already!
I'm not employed at the moment, BUT I was employed for the required amount of weeks in my test period, but I'm worried now that they'l find some way to wriggle out of it. We're relying on it, so hopefully it'l all work out. I've attached a covering letter to the form they sent today and will post it this afternoon so hopefully all is well.
I've sent away my payslips etc and they haven't sent them back yet, so taking that as good news. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Afternoon All :j
Tiny Tink Congrats!!
Jenjade - loved the video, shows it so well!! no words can describe that adequately!
Stacey - deffo starting to feel a bit :O too!! I have always thought that bubs will come early so hitting 30 + 2 wks feels very scary
Lucy - I dont think that I could do New york now even if you gave me £1000 spending moneygo with how you feel but think it could be a bit much now. Love the name by the way.
Gilly - My pram & pushchair will go to mothers when its collected as would be freaky about it being here, have relaxed on a few things though but crib etc is not coming until bub is here. Tell them to sod off about the number of baby grows you have, you seem like you have a sensible number says she who has never had a baby :rotfl:
All - is anyone else struggling putting their knickers on or am I missing something  I get one leg in then its all downhill from there, its as annoying as trying to put on socks....
Starting to think I really should make sure we have all the appropriate telephone numbers (hospital,dr's,MW etc) on mobile phones (mine, oh;s and mums) but cant remember how to do it my phonewill have to have a fiddle..
TC All

Oh Ro, it's balance and spacial awareness I'm having problems with, my bump had a massive bruise the other week because I'd banged into something, couldn't even remember doing it
how awful does that make me sound!

I'm slightly worried about mine, as I didn't realise for the self employed it is apparently only worked out on contributions, not income. So I had to cancel my exemption and write them a cheque for the contributions to make sure they were in on time. I should have enough as of this weekend I think to qualify, but I need to ring national insurance to double check before I post the form.0 -
Socks are a nightmare for me most days, and I'm only 29+5! But I agree with you Gilly on the spacial awareness thing... I frequently knock my bump with the car door when closing it... And do things like think I can squeeze through a gap behind a chair at work or something before realising that it's a bit tighter than I had thought... :rotfl:
Is anyone up to anything good this weekend? I've got another quiet one planned I think...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

:rotfl: I must admit, I do find it getting harder to do simple things like get my socks and undies on. I hope I can still reach after xmas as hubby leaves for work 2 hours before I'm even awake :rotfl:Oh Ro, it's balance and spacial awareness I'm having problems with,.........
Not balance but I'm with you on the spacial awareness. I said to hubby last week that my spacial awareness was a little out, as I keep bumping into things and catching my arms on doors and things. It's not even just catching the new bump on things, but I''ll bang my nose on the parcel shelf taking things out of the boot...... Must be extra careful when parking the car :rotfl:TTC #3..........0 -

....... oh dear gilly we need bumpers, I just have injured my arms & hands in so many ways whilst pregnant due to lack of attention, I scraped my hands on the exterior bricks carrying washing, cut my fingers chopping things, burns on arms from not putting my hands in the oven properly, then Dylan has given me so many scratches on my feet/legs if I forget to put on slippers as his claws are sharp  mum says she will get him groomed but she has not yet!! At one point it looked like I had been in a catfight and the gtt blood taking bruises added for full effect!!!!!0 -

... me too except I am awake (hubby fetches me toast) but I certainly dont want my socks on yet...... need to slowly wake up and have a warm shower. I think I read that some were still having baths, I struggle getting in them when not pregnant let alone preggers  I would most likely kill myself trying to get out!!!!

This weekend I'll be doing nothing, OH has uni work to do all of tonight, so I'll be on my tod probably if he decides to get off his bum and go to the library, and he's working late Saturday & Sunday. So X Factor both Saturday & Sunday more than likely... what an exciting life I lead. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
