why are all the babies on the list something pounds and under 10oz? why are no babies born being 11oz 12oz 13oz 14oz 15oz ???

That is odd now you mention it. Maybe our next will be higher ounces

It is rather bizzare! next person to have a baby should aim to have high ozage to miss prove the theory! i dont think i have ever been told by anyone that their baby was something lb and over 10 oz and i work with a lot of people with kids!

Ooh I have heard of it, I'm sure there was a 15oz on there a while ago. I will need to look back now

My DD3 8lb 14oz :j or :eek: depending how u look at it! DD1 was 7lb 5oz, DD2 8lb 6oz, so thinking this one is gonna be at least 9 and a half pound! x

I just found out something from my dad that i didnt know- i was telling him about my scan last week at 32weeks, where beanie was estimating at 4lb 11oz, and that if she follows predictions and doubles by due, she will be more or less 10lb which seemed high as i was 6lb 3oz and my sister about 7lb 4oz.

It turns out that he wasnt surprised by beanies size at all as of he and his 2 brothers, dad was the lightest at a healthy 10lb 8oz!!!! The other two were about 11lb and 11lb 11oz. All three born at a time either in WW2, or still in post war rationing, AND my grandma is 4ft 11, and has probably never been more than a small size 10- more like a 6-8! And there was me blaming DH who was just under 9lb..
