    Hey everyone,

Lirin - sounds like the day from hell. At least you're nearly at the end now.

The cot I ordered on Tuesdays is arriving today, so might see how I feel later about trying to build it (with hubby's helps though). Also have some drawers to build too. I think once these are both done, the baby's room might stop looking like a spare room :rotfl:

Off to my 28w MW appointment later. Expect it's just the usual checks. :)

I think it's a re-do of booking bloods at 28 weeks twigpig and all the usual blood pressure, fetal heart etc. Well I have mines (albeit at 29 weeks) and that's what it is :)

    Afternoon All :)

Hope you get on at appt ok twigpig, had my mw appt yesterday (30 wks as had to go back to do bloods etc, bp & anti d injection as rhesus negative, she had done fundal height last week when she had given up with trying to get blood from me as my arm was too bruised) Got another one next week with GP for 31 wks to get blood test results and general check up.

Am finding that the time between appts is now going quickly  have anaethetist appt at hospital next week too (my bmi is over 40 so no stressing if you do not have an appt ladies :D)

Still waiting to here if my friend is home from hospital, she supposed to come out yesterday, it was not her appendix but a lot of other problems which have now been operated on, she has had a really rough time bless her. I am sure her LO will be glad to have her mummy home as she has been in since saturday.

Feel like carp this afternoon, probably eaten too much and want to sleeeppp........ Dylan is sleeping next to me on the sofa think I will join him... he looks so cute and cuddly and he is warm....:)

    P.S

Depending on your mood read this if you are all hormonal and want to weep!!!

and this if you want a laugh ( the thread is something like big words from little people) I had real trouble not losing bladder control last night:rotfl:we have so much hopefully to look forward to on the amusement front with young children :)

In the car one day I was complaining about a cyclist (haha! see other thread!). My DD, 5 at the time, said "it's the way of the world, mummy, it's just the way of the world". Soooooooo cute I thought. Then she wound down the window and shouted "MUPPETS!!!!" at the cyclists at the top of her voice. The worst thing was I couldn't drive away ... they were riding side by side and it was too dangerous to overtake. Mortified.

Hope you're ok Ravenlady, and it's just D&V cramps and not anything else.

Hope everyone else is having a good day...

My bump has totally changed now, even my OH commented on it last night. It's much firmer now when you touch it, and I can usually feel knobbly hard bits poking out at some point... Of course I then worry that I'm poking the baby in an odd place so I have to try and keep my hands to myself! :rotfl:

......... my bump has been harder () for a bit too and it is tempting to poke mousey when he is trying to fight his way out , find it weird looking down and thinking bump bigger on one side than the other too :rotfl:

Ravenlady - ditto 4nnabella hope you are ok.

Gilly - am starting to think about the 'L' word too  I have dug out my natal hypnotherapy cd but cant start it until 32 weeks :o

I too hope all is ok Ravenlady... i do think there is quite a bit of D&V around at the moment as well though. I've had an upset tummy all day today, and felt like throwing up at some points too.

The movements i get from beanie are definately getting more defined, and more wince worthy! She has taken to doing what feels like a full body workout at night when i lie down to sleep. The only way i can get to sleep, is by rocking myself back and forth, which seems to calm her down a bit- but annoys the hell out of DH! Tough is what i say. He should try sleeping with what feels like the Alien from Aliens trying to escape out through my belly!

Ravenlady, thinking of you, really hope everything is alright

Kira, I last watched Alien at 5 weeks- the film takes on a totally different meaning when you're pregnant.....

I know about the movements alright- Hitch currently feels as if he/she is doing an upside down starjump- was showing my replacement how my stomach moves, and she had huge eyes.... I have something grinding into my pelvis, which I assume is Hitch's head, something battering the top of each leg- weirdly feels like Hitch is going to try crawl down my leg- that's probably hands. Then, and cheers for this one Hitch!, a foot under each rib, which is stingy sharp under the rib I broke years ago. Note for me just in case reincarnation exists- if I come back as a human female, try really, really hard not to break ribs, as it hurts when there's a baby bouncing on them.

Currently trying very hard NOT to think about Labour (oh, it now has a capital letter in my mind, that's not good....). I've just discovered I DO have a wimpy side, and it's actually trying quite hard to edge quietly away and hide from the inevitable.... That must sound extremely whingy to anyone who's had a child. I know, millions of women over the years have given birth. I haven't been one of those million until now (or soon, really) and I'm beginning to realise I can freak out.

Ok, think that's maybe it for now.....

    *Waits for pram to arrive......*

Damn Nightfreight, all the other couriers round here come between 11 and 2.30ish, I don't want to be answering the door to some strange man at anything up to 9pm! :D Been sat here all day jumping every time someone drives past to see if it is them.

Worst thing is, my back is aching today and my pelvis too, feels a bit like a water infection again, but I think more likely tuesday's shopping and wed's 2 hours of ironing, as it is much better when I lie down. But then I can't see outside, so I have to keep jumping up to see if the courier is here! :D I'm going to assume that, as every other time is hasn't been an infection when I checked, it probably still isn't.

Fingers crossed everything is ok for you Ravenlady.
