A few weeks? TBH, I'd kind of like a few more. I know it's selfish, totally, but Nice's comment about his wife feeling like daggers were being stuck in her was a little worrying.... It's getting a bit real now.

Yup, that'd be nice to get my body back. Being pregnant feels natural though, which is surprising- I'm not very maternal, I think?
Heart attack man is alright, he was treated and should be okay.... wasn't a heart attack, I think in the end, but a scare? Nice's wife is 2cm dilated, so he's actually in work again today- didn't think I'd see him before I left on Mat leave- but he's still pacing the floor and is glued to his phone.... She went in and was told to go home.

Me this morning- groggy- couldn't sleep much. Every way I turned was sore! Haev been up on and off since 0200. Was pretty much out like a light soon after posting last night- DH and I ordered in Chinese, and he massaged my feet, and that's pretty much all I remember!
Hip is screaming today, which isn't nice, but meh- one of those things!

Morning everyone. Had a great night's sleep after yesterday's shinanigans and slept thru til 6am. Woke up bursting bursting for a wee LOL. No more tummy upset or discomfort thankfully:j

Morning all! Woke up with a blocked ear again, thought I'd gotten past all that!

Waiting for the Asda man now. Didn't go overboard this time (apart from the kilo of carrots, but you can't buy them in smaller weights). Wish I could make and freeze stuff, but our freezer is big enough for the meat to be frozen for next week, a tub of ice cream, the frozen chips and a couple of other things.

Wonder Womble I know the feeling, all I want is to be able to sleep on my tummy, it's my favourite, I feel deprived, plus one side of my face is all breaking out and I'm convinced it's because I never sleep on the other. My OH had his hands on my bum last night and I snapped and said, "could you just leave me alone, I'm already sharing my body with 1 other male"

Lirin At least you're organised though, I thought we were but at the minute we have nowhere for baby to sleep, no mattress for said item, no bedding. Really need to get out and get things, OH is so busy at the moment with uni, work, and uni work and I want him to be there and make decisions, because I get a bit carried away. Oooh good luck to your bosses wife, looks like she's in for the long haul though! :eek:

I don't feel very organised.... I'm just tired, and starting to think about labour possibly a bit obsessively.....

I woke up at 5 this morning, and was laying there thinking about labour, I'm just terrified I'll end up needing a section, and that is my worst nightmare!

I am not sure if I am about to have a bout of D&V or I am having contractions. They feel very similar, started just over an hour ago and come in waves around every 3-5 mins all really low down. I feel personally totally rank, nauseous and just want to hide in bed and sleep it off, I have tried going to the loo and nothing happens at all, midwife told me to ring back after 3 to see if there was any change and go to bed in the mean time. She is reluctant to allow me on the ward if it is D&V.
