OMG! I am sooooooo itchy! I cant bear it! Its everywhere, my legs, arms, shoulders, head, tummy, back.. arrrgggggghhhh. Dont know what to do with myself. Started yesterday and got worse over today. Have had a cool shower, plain water, changed my clothes, used a plain moisturiser etc, and no help.
I think i'm going to mention it tomorrow at my 32 week consultant visit.
Hope everyone having a good evening..Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Hi Ladies!
I had my scan and Consultant appointment this afternnon and have good news to report! My fluid around baby has doubled over the last week and is now around the normal amount expected! Had a doppler scan as well and this was all normal. Blood pressure has also come down and is fine! The Consultant was amazed at how my water has doubled in a week, obviously rest and drinking and eating a lot has helped!
Feel more relaxed than I have all week! I have to go back again next week for a growth scan and to check fluid levels again, but the Consultant was very happy with me.
I was so happy I had a little cry. Think I'm finally going to sleep tonight after worrying all week.
Hope all are OK.

Evening all - thanks so much for your comments on my list yesterday. Writing it all down helped me get it sorted in my head. We definitely don't need all of that stuff now and it will be ideal to ask for some of it as pressies - as parentals are starting to ask now. Plus you guys gave me some great food for thought (nursing bras, primark nighties, etc) so thank you for that
.
34 week check tomorrow with the midwife.
Have been battling with work to bring my mat leave forward and they've said no (basically because I would be using annual leave before, they've said I can change the mat leave date if I want, but they won't authorise my leave) so I was really grumpy about that early this week, but things have changed and they've got a loan employee in from one of our providers and she is very good and dead keen so I will be handing everything over to her on Monday, then I'll have 2.5 weeks left of basically being on standby to help her. So I'm crossing my fingers that this will be the beginning of me winding down - yippee!!0 -
ahh just missed out on a doppler on ebay! it went for £3 because it had the wrong name and i completely forgot about it0

Thanks everyone for your best wishes. I had my sweep this afternoon and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was uncomfortable but not painful as such. I am feeling uncomfortable and wonder if every twinge is the start. I'm not confident it will work though.
Anyway, if it doesn't work I've been booked in for induction next Friday, 11/11/11. How weird would that be if I had the baby at 11 o'clock too??!!0 -
Evening everyone
I've been lurking today but haven't really had much constructive to say so have just been reading
Kira - sorry to hear about the itchiness! I'd definitely mention it tomorrow.
Jannine - that's wonderful news, I'm so pleased things look better for you! I hope you can now relax (and get a good night's sleep!)!
Alizee - that's so frustrating when that happens! I missed out on a huge bundle of baby clothes by 50p as I forgot when it was due to finish! I hope you find another one!
Steph - I hope the sweep gets things going for you! Although 11/11/11 would be an awesome birthday
I had my 28 wk midwife appointment today, everything is fine. She reckons baby is currently lying head down on my right hand side. All my measurements are fine and she found the heartbeat easily, so it was all good.
I'm definitely starting to feel more stiff and achey in my hips/pelvis area. I went for a walk today at lunchtime and ended up doing two miles which is more than I've done for quite a while and was definitely feeling it by the end! I felt like Pip had dropped right down into my pelvis and it was rather uncomfortable for a bit until s/he moved again!
Only 39 more days at work!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Baby was violently kicking last night and could see my belly move, tonight OH is here, and he's teasing us, unless we spend all night looking at my belly I don't think he's gonna see tonightThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
