In from dropping DH at work. Meant to get a huge sandwich- have come home with chips and sausages.

Cooking- about to start, but as DH had to explain what halfof our cooking utensils were to me,it could go two ways....

    Ebay..... cheapest for me
  • Lirin - LMAO :rotfl:

    Missymoo - me too!!!

If anyone is making the vegetable soup i suggested - please be aware it IS thick - if you do not like thick soup then just add some more water to the recipe (I'd add another 1/2 pint for "runny" soup)

Mmmmmmm thanks so much for the recipes girls. I've made a word document with them all in. Made spag bol last night and did an extra batch so have that in the freezer. I'm lucky in that DH will cook so at least he'll do that after baby comes. My mum normally makes us a lasagne or two. But how lovely will soup and crusty bread be on a cold winter evening nom, nom, nom!

I've just made fish pie for later, well all except the mash which I'll do in a mo, potatoes are cooked though. Squeak is being a pain in the bum and not going down for her sleep, now she knows it's lunchtime lol. she's sat in her highchair now peacefully munching a jam sandwich. She is major tired though so I don't know whether to pack her off to bed after or see if she'll stay awake until I go to get the big monsters...

Think she can go to bed so I can do the washing up and get everything nice and clean for the Tesco shop this afternoon.

Kitten_pie I am so sorry to hear your news xxx take care of yourself, and rememmber it's OK to feel whatever you feel, don't worry about what people are expecting or being strong for anyone else.

I hope everyone else is all doing OK.

We have really white low cloud... if it gets much colder I'll be worried about snow
