Had a pants afternoon – I’ve broken up with the fella, was me who ended it but I’m still heartbroken. Keep crying every time flump kicks, sat at work, can’t go home. Hurry up 4pm I need to go curl up in bed

Mimi- so sorry for you, anything I can do?
If you have a time machine can you just pop back to last December and tell past me to stop being a cow and causing problems?
It's not something i wanted to do - i REALLY want to tell him ive made a mistake, still love him etc (Because i do) but i just dont make him happy and ultimatley, he deserves to be. So as much as it hurts me, I need to let him go. I really wanted him to fight for me, but i just got "fine, goodbye" so i think he's relieved in a way
I'm hoping he will still have something to do with my DD even though he isnt her biological dad because he's been there for her so much - much more than her "real" dad - But obviously if he doesnt want to there's not much I can do about it0 -
Thanks everyone, I know really it is a good idea to have it, just had a minor panic when they said tomorrow (even though they've had tomorrow's date on every wall in the surgery for weeks!
).
I've had my bloods done today ready for next week's 28 week appointment, booked my flu jab, found some more lovely baby clothes in my local charity shop (4 for a pound, excellent!) then been tearing around frantically cleaning cos the other half is coming tonight. I have to drive 15 miles to the Mothercare evening, drive 35 miles or so from there to the station to collect him, then 25 miles home again. So I have to be ready to leave soon, just been washing up in my dressing gown straight out of the bath. Arrghh, just remembered another job I missed.....0 -
Mimi- It's hard when you realise that- even harder to act on it.
Big hug for you, though.0 -
I've took it hard because to me - he was the one for me. We was friends for a long time before we got together so I've lost both my fella, and one of my best friends at the same time - But hopefully I've done it for the right reasons and he'll be happier0

Mimi takes a lot of courage to do what you've done. It's ultimately putting someone elses happiness before your own. Big hugs xxxThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I had to do that before- it'll take a while to get over, but ultimately will maybe work out the best. Can your friendship be salvaged?0
