Morning girls, lots to catch up on here today. I was on at about 3am this morning but no one was around.
I've barely slept for two nights in a row and today has really caught up with me. I had big plans but I just feel so, so lethargic. I wanted to go to the library but I don't know where on earth I will get the energy so may just have to go back to bed with a sandwich and a film until I feel better. All I've done is feed the cats, hang out some wahsing and start cleaning washing machine drawer before baby clothes go in. Feel like I'm swimming through treacle :-(

Happy wedding day Mancbird. Talk about cutting it fine lol. You are brave :-)
  • Really can't believe how anxious I'm feeling....

Piggers - glad Dot is feeding well :) hows DS3?

thanks pigpen hun, think I'll just go with the 34d the.,

have just come back from the midwife and baby is breach (sp) and right up by my ribs, if he doesnt move in two weeks they will scan me and then try and move him :( sorry for some reason this has really upset me, a bit worried as OH works away and I dont know how I'll cope for the time after as OH cant be there all the time and my family live 30-40mins away. Do you think they would do an elective one early so that OH is home for longer after?? He is due home on the 1st for 6-8 weeks ish but im not due til the 17th........ sorry feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Missymoo I'm surprised that's an issue at this stage. My baby was breech at 34 weeks but the midwife wasn't at all concerned and said he'd probably turn of his own accord. They would only think it an issue after 37 weeks. No scans or anything offered to me! He's now cephalic now so I really wouldn't worry at this stage.

Thanks bascadette, i think she was more concerned that my stomach is so so tight theres not really any room for him to move and his really really high..... I hope your right, its just worrying with my whole situation with OH working away :(, thank you for the reassuring words though.

he is doing fine thanks... he managed half a day at school yesterday and was shattered but is attempting a full day today.. he was so pleased to be back with his friends and tell them about his ambulance trip (not that he remembers much!) and his hospital stay.

His sugars are still high but are slowly levelling out.. it is late afternoon one we are battling.

But yeah, he is doing great all things considered (useless GP strikes again!)

Baby moved to breech it can move back again!!! There is loads of time for him to move...

rocking on all fours, bouncing on the ball, putting cold things (bag of frozen peas worked with Tiddles) on the top of your bump, shining a light at the bottom of your bump all help with turning baby... :D

Just booked my flu jab, but they're doing them all tomorrow  and I still can't decide whether it is the right thing to do or not. The internet is full of scare stories about mercury poisoning your children, but then stories of pregnant women hospitalised with flu. I haven't had it in years, but I am more likely to catch it this year of course, and I do have a lanky teen in school bringing home germs.
