  • Gilly I have been in agony with my arm all night. Every time I rolled onto my left I cringed with the pain, but I couldn't sleep for long on my right due to hip pain :( My arm is still sore this morning :(

Thanks for the info about sleeping on your back. I don't intentionally sleep on my back, it just happens in my sleep

Hope everyone has a good day, I could quite happily go back to bed and forego work today!

I do overdue with my dates always have, it took 3 sweeps for me to go into labour last time, but defo felt the 3rd one, and it did the trick at 13 days. I was also sitting & bouncing on a gym ball.
But i tried all the old wives tales and nothing else helped at all.
    I just didnt want inducing.
I'm due friday, im also sure i will go over.
They dont do sweeps at all in the NE until your 7 days overdue.

morning all good luck for today mancbird, enjoy. x

well i have my first sweep at 12.45 today so not looking forward to it but it may be a means to an end, i havent even had a twinge yet. bah.

has anyone got older kids, my eldest is 11 and has started senior school but is constantly losing things its really winding me up and all im doing is having a go at him lately in the 4 weeks he has been there he has lost

    a pe top
    1 football boot
    2 ties
    2 bus passes
    a planner
    2 wallets
    homework
    water bottle
    door key
    locker key

and thats all i can think of for now, its cost me around £60 in all to replace it all that not including the petrol and inconvenience when i have to take him and pick him up because hehas lost his bus passes which cost £10 to replace each time and im sick and tired of having a go at him.

just fount out this morning that he is also on yellow report for talking to much in class and not doing some homework last week which i never knew about because he has lost his planner, brick wall , head and banging springs to mind.

    sorry for the moan

oooh chin up hun, i reckon this 3rd sweep will get you going, I will wait with baited breath.

Well sleeping wasnt much better, instead of waking up in the night, i couldnt get to sleep until 2, and woke up at 7:o.

Got my MW appt at 11.20 with my less than friendly midwife, so really looking forward to that, not, and if she finds sugar in my wee again im going to cry, have had enough of the GTTs!

But on a brighter note I'm going over to see my friend later, and her 9 week old baby so that I can have a big old squidge of him this afternoon :T. She's also giving me a baby bath, and has already given me loads of Next baby clothes, so have bought her some flowers to say thank you.

Lovecrafting- I know it's hard, and I'm thinking of you. I know my experience with losing one is nothing compared to your history, so I don't mean to annoy you by trying to empathise if it's wrongly placed. We had so many comments- 'At least you still have one' to 'Well, maybe it was for the best.' Maybe it was- it didn't really make it easier to hear, and it wasn't what we wanted to hear in any case. The local forest park we would go to- there was a lovely spot in it which seemed right, and we left flowers in it, and said our own goodbye. I haven't been back there since, though I know it will happen. It's strange getting teary over someone I never met and never will.

we have a little twinkle star toy hanging on the nursery curtain pole for the angels we lost, its a soft toy star with "twinkle twinkle little star how i wonder" what you are written on it, everytime i notice it it just reminds me to say hi to them, and give them a smile.
and makes me think they will be looking over this little one in the nursery. x

Mancbird - hope you have a fantastic wedding day, stay put vibes coming your way :D

Lovecrafting - sending you hugs hun, good news that they are going to monitor you so closely xx

Literally :rotfl: at the pierced leaking nipples :rotfl: almost wish I had mine done!

Bella and Mirror - lots of labour vibes coming your way xxx

Mirror - my 11 year old has been better so far this year, but last year he was a nightmare for loosing everything! Lots of conversations about looking after his own stuff, being responsible and xbox bans seem to have helped!

I've got my consultants appointment at 2.30 today and I'm already nervous. Just got a horrible feeling they're going to change their mind and let me go over. DH has been warned that he will have to open his gob today and back me up. I'm struggling big time with my hips and back again today and that coupled with no sleep is making me look like crap so I will be going for the sympathy vote!

grr I can see me and OH having a barny soon - He thinks im starving myself - I'm not, I'm just not pigging out!

Anyway, I forgot he thought that and as it's my ETT tomorrow i asked him to remind me not to have breakfast etc tomorrow so then he went on again.

I'm texting him what I'm eating today just to shut him up! I'm 29+2 and have put on 15 - nearly 16 pounds so I dont know what he is whinging at!

GTT, Bloods for Thyroid and Growth scan tomorrow - Thyroid results and check up on Tuesday - wish me luck!
