    Hey everyone :)

(((Hugs))) to lovecrafting xxx you must be feeling very emotional today. Let your new hubby take care of you and try and relax as much as possible. It's good news that you will be monitored carefully, hopefully that will help to put your mind wr ease xxx

Good luck to leandygandy, hopefully you're having mummy cuddles by now!

Sorry you're having a hard time lirin xxx

Hope everyone else is ok, I'm sure I've missed people out but my brain is a bit fuzzy now!!

Well, I'm enjoying my last night as a single lady :) thank you winnie and Emily for the good luck wishes xxx

I'm chilling out at home and having a little pamper ready for tomorrow. I had my hair cut this morning and had it straightened so it looks very sleek and polished :) I'll run the straighters through it tomorrow morning and put some pretty clips in it :) Everything else is sorted and I'm very excited :) can't wait to be a Mrs :)

Just hoping flump doesn't decide to put in an early appearance, been having lots of crampy pains and backache over the last few days and they have got worse this evening. I have told flump he has to stay put tonight but he can come anytime after noon tomorrow! Not had any show or anything like that so fingers crossed we will make it to the registry office :) lol

Of course now I've said that I am almost guaranteed to be two weeks late....

DSD pointed out 'bruises' on bump on Sunday. I took a look, and discovered I have a small collection of stretch marks on either side (not a surprise, bump is fracking huge, another growth spurt in last few days). No-one told me how itchy they were- I'm constantly trying not to touch bump, as I feel a prickly sensation all the time.

The milk thing- I'm definitely trying breastfeeding, and will be expressing and storing if I can.... I'll just pick it up as it goes. Watched a frankly bizarre American show about breastfeeding recently, where one lady was still breastfeeding her girls, at 6 and 8 years respectively. If that wasn't enough to try get my head around- I've been thinking in months, not years!!- she went on to say her husband also breastfed from her, and they'd turned it into a type of foreplay..... Started searching for another program to watch when it proceeded to show husband latched on! Very weird. (Sorry, that may be TMI at this time in the morning!)

Yip they itch, I've had them since about 25 weeks and they are gradually getting worse :(

That breast feeding story is just eeeeuuurrrgggghhhh!! Bliddy hell, but people are odd!

Also wonder womble I've just had my flu jab, went for a routine checkup and got shoved into the treatment room and jabbed  It's all done with, so warm since I've had it though, so hope I don't come down with anything.

Aaaah that will explain why I am so warm tonight and OH is complaining he is cold. It's usually the other way around, I thought he was coming down with another cold :rotfl: My arm still hurts and I've got a bruise. I don't think I'll be lying on my left tonight.

Does anyone know why you aren't supposed to sleep on your back when you are pg? Just wondering as I keep waking up on my back.

Well I accidentally put a spoonful of caffeinated coffee in my cup at 7am this morning and I'm still buzzing  This does not bode well for a good nights sleep, dodgy left arm and caffeine buzz :(

My arm is aching now Wonder Womble :( it really hurts, struggling to even lift it up. I will have to sleep on my right tonight, which I'm not entirely happy about but tried to nap earlier on my left and it was just too sore. You're not supposed to sleep on your back because

"When you lie on your back, your uterus presses on the vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart. Lying on your back for an extended period of time could interfere with the flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta and your developing baby.
This is potentially unsafe, particularly if you have a condition like high blood pressure that affects how much oxygen and nutrients the baby is getting. If you have such a condition, your doctor will advise you to sleep on your side.
Don't be alarmed if you go to sleep on your side and wake up flat on your back. It happens all the time and shouldn't have any serious adverse effect on your baby's health."

Thanks Google. Apparently it cuts off the blood/oxygen supply to the placenta.

I always wake up on my back then just roll over, well waddle over :o

    Well, Chinese was yummy.

Didn't realise Hot and Sour soup was quite so hot though, blimey.

Got another decision to make now.

When my ex hub left me, I did something crazy and I got a couple of piercings (chest area).

Since then, i've actually grown to love them. But now I'm gonna be a new mummy again, I don't know whether to take em out or leave them in. I don't know if they're appropriate to have now.

Have asked midwife advice, and she said it's up to me.

Any of you ladies have experience with this? Long shot I know. X

lol redhead, I did exactly the same thing when me and an ex broke up!!!! I did have both of mine done, but sadly I joined the military and had to take both of them out as crawling on the floor with them in didnt do them any good!!!! cant really offer you any advice, although my sister had hers done, and just took it out for late pregnancy and for a while after the birth, she was unable to breast feed anyway, but she said she just put the piercing back in, she had to repierce it a bit but it was ok..... sorry im rambling and not much help.

Haha, sorry Redhead, that would have been me with the naughty take-away influence. Have just finished a gorgeous Chinese myself. :D yum.
With regards to your piercings, I'd recommend getting rid for the time being at least. Baby's are very grabby, and the swollen post-birth boobs do not mix well with piercings.
I took mine out, and am glad I did. Although I notice I now leak milk from the scar tissue :/
