I don't mind sleeping it's just the time sometimes that passes and I wake up and think "!!!!!!" like last night, had left out chicken for dinner, by time I got up I thought not cooking that it'l take too long! I've got my feet up now though with a cuppa tea and toasted soda bread with loads of butter. I said to my OH last night I think I'll actually miss being pregnant. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Hehehe I got all soppy yesterday too - apparently I grabbed hold of his little finger and wouldn't let go in my sleep last night and kept mumbling love you love you over and over lol
Definitely WON'T miss being pregnant, 100% definitely not!0 -
I like being pregnant, I think, despite thinking I'm not really maternal? Or at least, wasn't before this. Don't get me wrong, I can do without the clicking pelvis, hip, back, leg, everywhere pain, headaches, feeling like I'll split open, and having to grab something occasionally when I stand, either because it's a tad sore standing, or things start going black......
But I like the feeling of Hitchhiker moving (some of the time, depends which body part is being played with. Or kicked, pummelled, squashed....). I like knowing I've a life inside me, even if I'm pretty much carping myself most of the time about looking after it when it's born.....
Ah, god, I am soppy today. It's disgusting.0 -

I do like the wriggling, think thats pretty cool and I do like freaking people out when he sticks his foot out and you can count his toesbut thats it - the rest of pregnancy sucks! I miss steak! And red wine! And chorizo and prawns and pate and walking!

I'm the same, least maternal person I know, don't mind other peoples babies but in extremely small doses. I can't quite get my head around the fact there's a human being in there, it just blows my mind what the human body is capable off.
I'm struggling to get up off the couch now, takes me a few goes normallyI won't be able to sit here in 10 weeks time or I'll be stuck forever.
Load of washing done and just stuck in a load of hand washing. I'm far too organised today, something bad has to happen :rotfl:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
S_C I used to make up 4 or so bottles at a time and keep them in the fridge until they were needed. Never had any issues. You can keep an open carton of baby milk in the fridge for 24 hours, so I see no problem with keeping bottles in the fridge.
Alternatively, make the bottles up with water, and if you have Tommee Tippee bottles, you can get these little milk pot things that fit inside the bottle. I swore by them!

Thanks - yes those are the things that came with the steriliser but I've no idea how to use them - it doesn't tell you anywhere!

Glad most of you feeling a bit more upbeat today - sorry to the ones who aren't!
TBH im feeling low today, had blood tests this morning which doesn't bother me - just dont like the achy arm.
Had a bad nights sleep and the muscle in my back is throbbing still to the point where I can only either sit with feet up high or lie down - not good for an office job. Have to go to work at 1.30 and have no idea how im going to do it. Dont want to go off sick again and am worried about how the boss will react:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

I had a fabulous pregnancy with DS1, carp with DS2 and this one has been mixed. I've just struggled these last 6 or 7 weeks I guess when SPD has kicked in. I just want to meet my little man now - it's like Christmas is coming :j!
Just washed the last of the baby clothes and bedding. I've only done the neutral bits just in case but all the boy bits are in a bag ready for my mum to wash when I'm in hospital.Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0
