DH has just called to say his work are going to give him 2 weeks paternity leave at full pay

i am trying honest kandboys, having a sweep tomorrow so that may get things started. fingers crossed

That's great Winnie. DH will get 2 weeks fully paid too. Plus we are hoping we get a date for a Wednesday or Thursday so he can have an extra couple of days using holiday then start his paternity leave on the Monday meaning he has 2 and a half weeks off yey!

Oh I do feel for you Mirror - it's horrible being overdue especially when people queue jump !

Well I'm off work today as been up all night in agony with back and leg pains. Bit better now but maybe that was bouncing around on my ball at 3am today Think baby is pressing on some nerves either way it is rather ouchy.

Glad your feeling a bit better lirin looks like most of us are feeling a better today

Already had 3 phone calls today already from family to see if anythings happening, i've never been as popular lol!

Nothing is happening though, keep having a bit of a show for most of the day but nothing major, got another sweep on thursday before my induction on friday, not sure what use it will do though lol

Morning ladies.

I feel great today, loads of stuff done, visited Doctor, got MatB1, urine checked, blood pressure has fallen again, so it's near on perfect, which I was a bit worried about because of all the stress of last week. Also wonder womble I've just had my flu jab, went for a routine checkup and got shoved into the treatment room and jabbed :eek: It's all done with, so warm since I've had it though, so hope I don't come down with anything.

Also managed to cancel my booked re scan as the consultant saw everything he had to see on Friday, so another good deed done, hopefully someone will be glad of that appointment

Doctor tried to listen to babys heart but he wasn't for having it, wouldn't stop moving around. I worry my child will be hyper. So yes good mood today, which is unusual, I think my OH may die of shock when he eventually gets in.

Thats good news winnie! my OH isnt getting any time off really, hes taking friday unpaid then having the weekend off then probably going back to work monday if everything goes to plan. Once hes accumilated a bit of annual leave in this new job we can hopefully have some time off together in a month or so

That really sucks My OH works for the most unreasonable company ever, but I've read through the guidelines and his hand book and he's entitled to 2 weeks paid paternity. Luckily his boss's gf is due in November so I said make sure you keep an eye on what he's getting/doing, because I know they will try and fob him off :mad:
