    Afternoon Ladies,

May I join? I've been reading the thread for weeks and weeks and I feel a little early to join but hey ho :D

I am due 3rd March and we're firmly team yellow, the 20 week scan is 18th Oct and I'm soooo looking forward to seeing Elvis again :)

Also, ulterior motive comes out :o, has anyone seen a discount code for The Baby Show tickets at Earls Court? Mothercare website still shows the Manchester show which was a month ago

    Thanks!
    Icey xx

    Hi Icey!

Kandboys - one newbie for the list :)
  • Just looking at all the girlies on the birth list - only 3 boys!! I think most of us who are due soon are having boys though, which is just as well - we really need to even up the numbers!

It really is! I know about 10 people who are due in January and every single one is having a girlie! Our boys are going to be spoilt for choice in a few years :p

Sorry to hear so many of us are having a rubbish time at the moment, hugs to everyone who needs them xxx

Glad to hear that winnie and Bella have got induction dates :) not long to go now girls :) not sure what the policy is for induction here but have an appointment with the midwife on Friday so will ask her then.

Hope things start happening for you soon flower xxx

I've been feeling pretty rubbish the last couple of days with backache and what feels like period pains, but nothing stronger than that. I have slept loads and had an upset tummy too so not sure if I've had a bug or if this is the start of something. It would be just our luck if I went into labour now as the wedding is in 2 days! Everything is sorted so am just looking forward to being Mrs D :) Flump can come anytime he wants after 12 on Wednesday!!!!!

Have been repacking my labour bag this afternoon. Taking one big bag with everything I need for the labour and immediately afterwards and then a smaller bag for the postnatal ward with changes of pjs, underwear, baby clothes etc in.

All the talk of doughnuts is making me crave something sweet but I'm not doing a 12 mile round trip to the shop! Might bake some fairy buns or something instead :)

I have 4 friends who are due round about the same time. 3 boys, 1 girl and a yellow due! There are 3 of us due in this street - something in the water. I warn people who come for a cuppa :rotfl:

All four of the wives of the chaps in DH's department at work are pregnant too - so strange how it clusters like that!

There are four of us pregnant in my family, three of us are all due in the next 6 weeks! Going to be a busy time!

Just seen an advert on the telly for those of us who are 32 weeks pregnant or less - if you sign up to the pampers club on their website https://www.pampers.co.uk (sorry, can't do links as I'm on my phone) they will send you a new baby pack with 10 nappies, some wipes and money off coupons when you are between 28 and 32 weeks. Hope this is of use to some of you :)

Kandboys, just been reading back, glad to hear bubba is moving about now :) xxx
