DH bought me new lights for our hall. I saw them reduced in Homebase- funky coloured mini chandelier things. Got them home, and realised he'd have to rewire the old lighting sockets as it wouldn't take. Another quick trip to Homebase. Got chandeliers up, realised he didn't have correct bulbs to fit. Homebase again.

Thankfully, Homebase is a few minutes drive from us, and bless DH for his ability to forward plan!

May I join? I've been reading the thread for weeks and weeks and I feel a little early to join but hey ho

I am due 3rd March and we're firmly team yellow, the 20 week scan is 18th Oct and I'm soooo looking forward to seeing Elvis again

Also, ulterior motive comes out , has anyone seen a discount code for The Baby Show tickets at Earls Court? Mothercare website still shows the Manchester show which was a month ago :mad:

Bless your OH's bringing you pressies my OH brought me a doughnut home on saturday it was lush ummmmmmmmm

I've had another mad do! lol just done all the ironing, found loads of DS nearly new tshirts I had forgotten about just hope they still fit him haha. Done some major tidying in our room, still need to tackle under bed but need OH to carry hoover upstairs for me so that will be a job for tomorrow if i'm still here

Gonna go my friends for a brew on way to pick DS up, need to calm down a min first i'm all hot and bothered again lol. Feeling much better than I did yesterday and this morning need to just make it through 3 more days!

im seeing the midwife on wednesday when she said she will give me a sweep, so fingers crossed that will work

I'm finding it very hard today. I'm sorry for whinging, but it's sore to walk or sit, and I'm so uncomfortable- and even though I'm going down to 4 day weeks, I still have another six weeks in work.... I'm just so tired, and my head is sore....

Been to see midwife. Have been concerned about lack of baby's movements over the last few days and she thinks I ought to go in for monitoring. She also said if I go in more than 3 times they would deliver. He's moving a bit now but nowhere near as much as he used to.

Still here and not holding out much hope for baby being born on or before due date! Had some more show this morning but not getting too excited by it as knowing my luck I'll still go 10 days overdue!

Hope everything's ok K. Mine's been moving more than ever - I'm waiting for it to wear itself out as I've heard they go quiet just before they make a move south - not sure if that's another old wives tale to be honest.
I'm so bored but can't be asked to go into Asda (for donut) or over to Mom's even though neither are far so guess I'll just doze until OH gets home about 7.30! Third load of washing in the machine but not sure they'll be ready to line dry before the sun goes down.
