I did go mental - especially at the neighbour this morning as it's her bloody dirty rabbit hutch thats attracting them all. I swear I could have smacked her one when she said "just be thankful you dont live in London"
ARGHHH
Anyway - I set some traps last night and nothing - so hopefully he was just coming for a nosey around and i frightened him off.
DD woke up this morning crying and refusing to get out of bed "in case the mouse bites my feet off" (Dunno how big she thought he was!!!!) had to lie and say the dog had already been up and checked whilst we was sleeping lol
Anyway - boldies - im not talking to you ANY MORE your holding up my climb on the EDD list - I've been number 41 for AGES now and im getting bored - either start having those babys or im gonna come and pop them out of you lol
Me and OH had a nice day yesterday - After having a long "chat" (via text lol) i figured out we've both misunderstood each other a HELL of a lot over past 7 months which has led to many arguments - both of us are prats lol hopefully it will get sorted x
Missy - as for dreams - dont worry about them they are natural (Promise) I've not had dreams about the baby (i did with DD) but this time i'm dreaming OH is cheating on me and I wake up and stay in a mood until i twig its only a dream lol I posted the other week about dreaming about the vampires coming to get me too lol - Worst one I had was when I dreamt my DD wasnt actually mine and her mum (strangely my sisters friend) had come for her - very upsetting (and daft!)0 -
Are you sure they are proper contractions Winnie or just painful tightenings/braxton hicks? Hopefully they are doing some good in there!!
With regard to visitors, I would just say go with what you are all comfortable with. But remember that friends and family are very, very excited to meet the baby too! You could always say that yes you can come and visit but bring a meal with you lol!! When DS1 was born my in laws lived over 4 hours away and rang us to say they would be coming to stay when he arrived (that's the kind of thing they do but that's another story!!). Luckily, DH spoke to his brother and they stayed there but every day around 8am they would arrive to clean or do the garden and stay all day!! I used to hide upstairsThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -
Morning all.
Well, 41 weeks today and I think I may have overdone it....
Was up and down all night for wee wees and at 5.40 decided to get up as hubby had terrible wind, the bedroom smelt awful and it was making me feel sick.
So off I poodled into the living room and, oooh, Ill just have a little tidy up....
By 8am hubby's packed lunch was made, kitchen was cleaned in its entirety (including the non-everyday jobs such as cleaning cupboard doors, wiping down tiles etc.), as was the bathroom and living room, washload in the machine, I was showered, teeth brushed, dressed, and fed.
Have been sat catching up on my weekend telly for a couple of hours now and I am EXHAUSTED. Felt fine while I was doing the work but now when I get up it's like my body won't do as it's told!!!
At least the rest of the day is my own, unless Mini G decides to make an appearance.0 -

:T Can I have some of what you're having? I so need this kind of motivation.0 -
Mimi, you're more than welcome to come here & give it a go! I'm fed up of not bring able to bend over now - why does everything seem to be on the floor?
Anyway, I'm still in bed - I figure in a couple of days I won't be able to have lie-ins so I'm making the most of it!

It's the first I've really had of it, but if it comes back I'll be sure to send it your way. As things stand I'm totally pooped and good for nothing right now0 -

I am amazed at how much stuff is on the floor too, since I have to heave-ho to pick anything up lol. Even my cats, who love to roll over on the floor for a tummy tickle, and I can't reach. Sad eyes all round!
Keep dropping stuff on the floor too, more so than I ever remember doing before I could just bend down and pick it up. I've noticed things just seem to roll out of the fridge and onto the floor too :rotfl:0 -
I said to DH last night I'm inclined to sweep up anything and dump it if ir's on the floor. To which he burst out laughing, as admittedly, in that one room, quite a bit was mine.
Our house isn't too bad- DSD's been successfully (Well. 80%) trained in closing doors, switching off unnecessary lights, and tidying up after herself. It's DH is the messy one!
I'm only in a couple of hours, and already want to go home- headache, achy all over and if I close my eyes at all, I will be asleep.0 -
