Chow mein sounds good, and just what you need after a drama llama day :D I had chip shop chips for dinner tonight, and they were *so* nice! Am glad you're feeling better. It's very easy to go into panic mode when you're told something isn't perfect, but I hope the googling that your OH did earlier and the subsequent conversations with lots of people have helped put your mind at rest. Like you said earlier, worrying and stressing about it isn't going to change anything, and in all likelihood it'll be nothing wrong and Friday will be nothing more than another opportunity to see your little boy!

I know! I suppose everyone has something, I've had a dream pregnancy up until now, no sickness, feeling great. Wouldn't be fair if everything was plain sailing now would it? :p

On speaking to my OH's mum tonight she laughed and said "Don't know why you're worrying, he had a massive head" not sure if that's supposed to comfort me or not though, surely large heads can't fit in birth canals..

I know, I can't wait to see him again already, hopefully he's feeling more photogenic this time, or maybe he just takes after Dad.

  • Morning everyone! I can't believe how quickly this thread moves, but i have finally caught up!

Im 30 weeks today and having a slight panic attack that we are on the final countdown. I feel really disorganised as all we have bought is the travel system :o I have a few bits and pieces that my friend has given me but apart from that nada.

Is anyone else going down the reuseable nappy route? I really want to but dont know anyone who has actually done it. I have £90 of tesco vouchers and was thinking of buying these teenyfit Tots Bots as they should be small enough for a newborn, but not sure.

Morning all :) 40+6 today and still no sign of baby, going midwife at 11.30 so if she doesnt offer a sweep I will be asking for one. I have to say I do actually feel much better now than before my due date, i'm sleeping better, heartburn has gone. Still sufffering with the sciatica but I can cope with that :)

Had a mad rush of energy yesterday, did loads of nesting even bathed the dog lol! Hopefully thats a sign things are gonna happen sooner rather than later now.

Labour vibes to the boldies and all who want them :)

Gilly, seriously don't stress, I've had a relatively trouble free pregnancy as well, and you'll likely find a slightly big baby is nothing to worry about. A 20lb'er on the other hand- I'm twinging in pain a little just at the thought of it. Kicking- mine's definitely aware it's rugby season- I feel bruised a little.

Mine is going to be a 17 second labour, and a small perfect baby will pop out. (Let me have my delusions!)

Jenjade, watch your manager like a hawk. What I did was just refuse to do stuff- sorry, doc says I can't do it, you wouldn't ask me to go against medical advice, would you?

Emily, I'm 30 weeks, and I've already had the slight panic- it's unreal thinking that by Christmas there will be someone else in our house. HTH will I cope? I can't even remember to get lunch for me if I'm busy!

Got pretty much no sleep- usual aches and pains in pelvic area and back stepped up a bit yestarday, making it difficult to walk far. Every bra I own is killing me, as Hitchhiker seems to want to live somewhere in my chest- my bump is rising! Everything cuts in and it's bruised a little. Between BH's and Hitch kicking yestarday, I feel like I've been tenderised.

    Oh Mirror- Happy due date!

I posted this in the up to 24 week thread but thought it would get seen by more here:

I've had a really uncomfortable night, my hip is agony, I have a dream genie pillow and that doesn't help, I'm struggling to keep lying on the left as it leaves me so uncomfortable, doesn't help i'm weeing every 90 mins.

My ankle was puffed up before bed so oh massaged them to disperse the fluid, now my knee on the left is agony, oh is more concerned than me i'm just very tired and feel very sore.

I'm guessing this is normal? xxx

Phone HR now, Jen, her attitude is completely wrong. Ham it up if you need, but I suspect you won't have to. Tell them her attitude is making you anxious and stressed, and you do not wish to have contact with her if she is allowed to continue acting in that manner. Consider raising a formal grievance against her.

Oh, and big hugs, I know it's getting to you..

    Jen, also, read this-

Toniq, I've had a lot of pelvic and back pain lately, a warm bath helped (and a massage when I can con DH into giving me one).... Talk to your midwife though, they could help.
