Mines is packed and it's not packed. Got a case with all bubbas stuff in, nappies, toiletries for me. I still have a primark carrier bag sitting with all my clothes in, i.e nighty, socks, slippers etc. Should really have that done. They say 36 weeks for a first pregnancy and 34 weeks for any after that :)

can't help on the palpatations front :( not had anything like that, not even sure the things I had which I thought were BH, were BH. I'm a bit useless on the whole :o

I have a question: for those who took iron tablets, when did you notice any improvement in you energy levels? Ok, I only took the first one and don't expect anything to happen straight away, just hope it gets better soon...

Gin, I have been on them for most of my pregnancy and I would say it took a good couple of weeks before I noticed any improvement. Did they say you need to take them with Orange juice as Vit C helps your body absorb the Iron. I still take mine now as I haven't finished the prescription but only every other day or every 3rd day as I found they were slowing my bowels down too much

I have few weeks then!! Might start getting a few items with my weekly shop from now on and I will probably pack it around 35 weeks maybe.
I bought a baby coat off eBay and it arrived this morning, it's so cute!! I forget how small baby's clothes are!!

  • Morning everyone, I'm 37 weeks today! Feeling quite tired and sore today, my hip on the left side is really achy :( I'm partly hoping that bump arrives early so I don't have to put up with random aches and pains, and partly wanting him to stay put as long as possible as I'm sure dealing with a real baby will be even harder work!

For those of us who are due in Feb, I heard that the Feb hospital bounty packs will have a Twix bar in :) Apparently lots of people (well, the men in particular) are disappointed to find there's no Bounty bar in there....

Hi I've been getting palps the last couple of weeks and apparently it's to do with the extra blood. Also getting BH alot more the last week or so,not at the same time as the palps tho.

Re hospital bags, pretty much all packed now apart from last min bits like charger,iPad,snacky bits for hubby. Just need to get a couple of vests and jogging bottoms to come home in,and some knickers,so will prob get those tomorrow.

Aww that's a shame, bounty bars are my fav lol

Is anyone getting their partners to bring in food to hospital that they've not been able to have during preg? Already told mine to bringing some sushi and prawn sandwiches lol:T

  • Morning everyone! Hope all bumps are doing well, and mummies too of course.

Got another scan today 32+4 to check she's growing ok so looking forward to seeing her again. Not back to work until Tuesday and then only working until 9th Feb (and it only actually works out at 15 working days) can't wait to start maternity leave, definitely needing a mid afternoon nap more now :)
