I think I will have french toast for lunch
trying to decide between lunch and a nap  OH has his second last exam today so contemplating taking him out for dinner tonight, will see how I feel later, I feel so self concious in a restaurant with my converse on, but literally nothing else fits on my feet.

ALSO ALERT ALERT ALERT.
Some of the stuff showing on Asda at the moment isn't the price it is in the leaflet, it's full price, so it may not go down til the 17th, just incase anyone is thinking of ordering something. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Morning All !
Kira - hope all ok and getting mummy cuddles
labour vibes to boldies!! (including redhead in this as an honary early member good luck!)
Hope Lovecrafting ok x
Gin- confession eerr did not take the iron tabs properly gave up and stuck with spatone. You may get on better with them. I dont think it takes too long to feel more energy with them if they suit you, think someone said couple of weeks which sounds sensible. If you keep an eye on your eyelids and gums then as it improves they should be darker and less pale looking. I also know when better as can stay up later, I had a test this week and mine now 11.3 previously 10.3 not sure how that happened as was more tired! umm!!
Toniq - I am not watching anymore maternity ward as its too much now we are this far along, switching to bridezilla instead as at least it makes me laugh!!
I did try and type a post this morning but lost it twice, somehow I shut the browser on the phone and its driving me nuts!!
So tired this morning and got rudely awakened to answer a phone call 'according to our records you may have been missold payment protection insurance blah blah' GRRRRRRRH!!!
Have found sitting on an office chair tilted forward is helping me get comfortable and keep my legs a bit lower as sofa keeps getting uncomfortable.
Your post on here are fab and keep me sane !!
By the way whoever said about hubby fainted, in case you missed my previous post weeks ago mine fainted at the 20 week scan, turned round to tell him was a boy and he was slowly falling out of his chair, caused a right panic!! Hence watching lots of OBEM to toughen him up!! But my mum is coming too to keep an eye on him. To be fair as much as watching maternity ward was stressful yesterday hubby was sort of watching the c sections through his fingers and previously would not have stayed in the room!!!
Found out my hubby friend's wife had their girl (ivf) c section 22nd December they had xmas curtesy of the nhs and all is well she was over 8lb, she was induced but no further details forthcoming until after I have delivered!! LO is quite noisy, so pleased for them as I understand they have had a struggle to get to this point so its lovely.

Just rang dr I am breathless my heart is like racing tank and i dont have a scrap of energy. I'm guessing i'm amaemic. I wouldn't think I would be though as im on pregnacare that has iron in it. Is it ok to take a supplement of iron on top of pregnacare? Does this sound like amaemia this early? I'm only 12 weeks.0

You can have both sushi and prawns during pregnancy!
I heard it depends on if the sushi had been frozen beforehand(it has to be to be safe fro preg women apparently),so didnt want to chance it.:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Super noodles for lunch here - as inspired by someone on here few days back...
I waned to add as well, that sushi and prawns are ok. For sushi - you need to make sure that the fish has been frozen first (somewhere I read), but then most of it in the sushi in shops is.
Mm I could really do with some supernoodles but ran out. Going to have some covent garden chicken and corn soup:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Hi all,
Any nice weekend plans? We're having our nursery furniture delivered as the room was painted last weekend, feels very early but I want to be ready at the same time, plus I have started to build a small collection of things for LO and it will be nice to have some storage for them, it's getting so real now! Every supermarket shop I do I buy a little something essential that we'll need for her!
I had booked NCT classes as we don't have NHS parentcraft in our area as a result of the cuts, but then the midwife recommended classes at half the price this week, I am trying to cancel the NCT ones but they have said I'll take a £30 hit in cancellation fees which I can take in NCT shop vouchers, not sure they can do that as I cancelled in the 7d cooling off period but might just have to find something we need to buy, anyway, the cheaper classes end earlier (i'll be 36 weeks) so I'll be the smallest one there, but we could use the money to buy more for LO so economy wins over timing!0 -
Hi All, just had a quick check back but not taken it in really. Baby appears to have decided she might arrive after all. Been having contractions since yesterday about 7pm but not enough to go anywhere. Spoke to the hospital this morning and they suggested I wait, partly as they don't appear to have many staff in on the midwife unit! May have to cave soon though as my tens machine is starting not to cut it, but I'm worried I'll go in and find I'm 1cm if lucky and they'll want to send me away again.
Did manage to get some sleep last night, dozing on and off which was lucky as I don't feel like total rubbish now. I'd just like this bit over and the baby in my arms. DH insisted on ringing our mothers so I suspect they will be on edge all day. I wasn't planning on telling anyone until we were done and dusted.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Rebekah, my bloods at booking appointment were 11.7 ,which is just above the limit they have her. The nurse I saw couple of weeks later to get result, said they are fine, but the consultant might decide to prescribe me the iron tablets. I saw consultant 4-5 weeks later, complained about the tiredness, got the bloods checked again, and the levels came back as 9.7!!! I am on pregnacare - have been for years, I insist at home that we have plenty of meat, and OH is almost force-feeding me the veg (plenty of broccoli, cabbage, and some spinach as well). My eyes don't look any more pale than usual, nor do my gums, but I am out of energy, my heart does get racing (or at least it feels like that for me) even for just sitting on the sofa. And if I go upstairs, I often have to sit down on the bed just to recover from the strenuous exercise!
All I can say - have it checked. I read that low iron can cause low birth weight of the baby, and even possible premature level, so I am doing my best to take the tablets (ok, second day only). I know they can cause all sorts of side effects, but will see how I get on and try and cope with them (for example dried fruits - prunes/dates/apricots - are good for constipation).Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
