Good Luck Crabapple, hopefully it progresses for you, quickly :D

Also, just had a thought, when I applied for my maternity allowance, I had to send 4 payslips away which I did, started receiving my Maternity Allowance start of December. Phoned them at the time to say I hadn't received any documentation to tell me how much I would receive or my payslips back, they said they had just been sent out. Fast forward to today, realised that I've not got any of them. Gave them a phone "oh we sent them back" now what is annoying me is, I paid to send my application and payslips recorded delivery, they've obviously just sent them in normal mail and tough crap basically. So who do I take this up with? Is it okay that my payslips are floating about somewhere? God knows where. Am I over reacting?

Just rang dr I am breathless my heart is like racing tank and i dont have a scrap of energy. I'm guessing i'm amaemic. I wouldn't think I would be though as im on pregnacare that has iron in it. Is it ok to take a supplement of iron on top of pregnacare? Does this sound like amaemia this early? I'm only 12 weeks.

I`ve been like that every morning since i was around 10 weeks.....I think its when my blood pressure is low :( I usually feel better around lunchime, once i`ve had plenty to eat and drink! But ur better off getting it checked out, let me know how u get on! xx

Oooh, come on baby Crabapple, give ur mummy a break! Have u had paracetamol and tried a hotwater bottle/getting in the bath (not sure how mobile u r!) Can a midwife not come out to u to check how ur progressing? Hope to hear from u soon xxx

I REALLY really wanted tomato soup for lunch, i`m sure i picked some up at shopping last week, however i must have put it back for some reason as theres none in the cupboard and i had to have tuna sarnies instead

Hi All, just had a quick check back but not taken it in really. Baby appears to have decided she might arrive after all. Been having contractions since yesterday about 7pm but not enough to go anywhere. Spoke to the hospital this morning and they suggested I wait, partly as they don't appear to have many staff in on the midwife unit! May have to cave soon though as my tens machine is starting not to cut it, but I'm worried I'll go in and find I'm 1cm if lucky and they'll want to send me away again.

Did manage to get some sleep last night, dozing on and off which was lucky as I don't feel like total rubbish now. I'd just like this bit over and the baby in my arms. DH insisted on ringing our mothers so I suspect they will be on edge all day. I wasn't planning on telling anyone until we were done and dusted.

Oh my goodness - good luck and enjoy the mummy cuddles big hugs x x x x

Thanks for this. Yes, I have been advised to take it with orange juice for extra vit C, but it usually gives me heartburn!!!! So far I didn't have it with orange juice, too scared, especially since you can't have antiacids for 2 hours! I had some dried fruits (apples) to follow iron tablet today.
I have same problem heart burn from hell if I have neat orange. So I put a bit say 1/3 in a glass and dilute it with water so make it like squash. On a bad day it will give me small heartburn but nothing major.

I am taking Sanatogen Mum to be still and still have aneamia. The dose (although it says 100% rda) is a lot lower than the amount I take in the Iron tablets. I think the content in the mum to be is around 30mg and the iron tablets I have are around 270mg from memory!!

Yea I always have a been a little bit and just put it down to the 1st 12 weeks exhaustion thing. But right now the past 2-3 days its got worse and the lady who did the scan yesterday commented on it too saying how it was really racing bad. I can't even keep a long conversation without being breathless. I im always sitting on the bed to recover from walking up the stairs. Madness lol. They took my bloods and everything and that was it. Didnt hear any more so when dr calls i'll ask them how it was then. Pretty sure they will give me something on top.

Ooh I got that a lot, but my iron levels were completely fine, so it wasn't related for me I guess?

Asked my mum what to do about the idiots at Social Security (she works in management in the civil service) and she said to put in a complaint letter as they cannot ignore it, they need to reply. Fair enough payslips aren't all that, but what happens when it's mine and OH's P60's for tax credits and they lose those? May be a Royal Mail problem, but my OH used to work for Child Benefit and if you sent anything recorded delivery the correspondence you got back was sent recorded. Sorry to go on, but I'm quite fuming, you ladies must think I have nothing but problems in life, it seems that way from what I post :rotfl:

    Good luck Crabapple.

Had some fantastic news from the hospital, both mine and OH cystic fibrosis bloods came back fine, so fingers crossed the Echogenic Bowel was/is not a marker for anything being wrong with baby. Such a huge weight off our minds :0)
