I've got the Gaviscon chewables at the moment, but it's like chewing chalk I found :( makes me baulk :rotfl: cures the heartburn/indigestion though.

The only things that have worked for me, are Gaviscon liquid and Frijj Chocolate milkshakes...

You can ask your doc for something, i think its called ranitidine, i cant remember what, but it is an ingredient in an over the counter tablet, that some of the ladies now on the newborn thread used, Xantac i think?

    oooh, good luck Kira. xxx

I'm hating everyone today, people seem to be determined to wind me up and raise my blood pressure.
I also officially hate landlords and estate agents, no one can seem to be honest. We've put in two offers at asking price on two different properties only for them to say they want more!

Poor OH seems to be getting the brunt of my frustration. I'm eager to set up home somewhere so I can start nesting and buying the bigger stuff. At present, we are in a 1 bed flat with no space to even start stocking up on all the good stuff.

Also have to go back to the hospital for a blood test, i'm really starting to hate the hospital as well. Times like these its when I'd usually go out for a drink to relax, but not really sure what to do now. :o (Desperately trying not to do some retail therapy for myself cos that's how I get into trouble).

I'm still struggling with what pushchair/carrycot/travel system thingy. The selection for twin babies is nowhere near as good as singles and I'm struggling to find stuff.

I just need everything to start running smoothly.

    .....
    and breathe!

My midwife gave me this tip for heartburn which works for me: mix 2 spoons of natural plain yoghurt with a glass of milk and drink 30 mins before each meal.

1 carrot :rotfl: Should we start a "what can you make with 1 carrot' thread :rotfl:
Sorry Gilly, hope that you can get more. I'd be tempted just to eat the one you have, lol :)

I'm 5.3 and the 55 cm birthing ball was the one for me. I think it's either 5.5 or 5.6 and under, you need to the 55cm one.

I'm looking for another isofix base for our 2nd car and want the maxi-cosi familyfix isofix base (already have an easyfix base and cabriofix seat so no other brand will work for us) :) The best I can find is getting Mothercare to price match some onlines places for about £130. Hoping I can do better. Any ideas ladies?

Can sympathise with the weight gain too. Think I'm now about 2 stone up, with 3 weeks to go. Still going to Slimming World each week or it would have been more, lol. My first number is not a 'stones' that I've ever been before. Not liking it one little bit.....

Emmy, where are you finding the vouchers? I had a few saved from Bounty, but would love more.
