Relieved that other ladies at the 24-25 week stage have similarly put weight on, DH assures me I haven't put on around the back/arms/legs/bottom areas but the number of stones I now am is not a weight band I've ever been in before so it's disconcerting!
I've vowed to start eating healthily again though as Christmas was a real pig out and that won't be easy to shift if I carry on!0 -
Our cats love coming into the loo with us too. /My little black bombay girl is a cuddle monster anyway. She is currently lying on the pillow on my lap, head resting on my let hand, which is covering the keys on the keyboard on the left, and she has one paw along the bottom of the screen. Her head bobs as i type with my left hand fingers, but she seems happy and is snoring away....Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I used to have a cat when lanky teen was a baby, it drove me mad because it liked to get in the cot or pram, and curl up on baby's belly! I think maybe cos they're warm and smell of milk? I still have my old cat net here somewhere, but no cat any more thankfully!
Well, had a bit of a, not a false alarm as such, but a start, then a full stop! I called the other half over before it all stopped, so we went for a sweep today to try to save him the trip back. Just waiting to see if anything significant happens, but the midwife did say I was 3cm and she was optimistic I wouldn't need my induction appointment that she made. Oooh, I do hope she's right.0 -

Iam dreading how our cat will react to our baby. She is a very inquizitive Persian (even though she is middle aged!) ans is not too keen on children. Her only baby encounter was with my Niece and she wouldnt go near her - not that that is a bad thing, I dont want the cat trying to walk all over the baby! I think the biggest problem we will have with the cat is she usually sleeps in our room but when baby comes we will have to shut her in the kitchen so will probably be kept awake more by her crying than the baby!0

Afternoon ladies.
I think it was MozzyC worrying about cats jumping in the moses basket with the baby. I believe you can by nets to put over prams to stop cats jumping in (mine has one built in) and I'm sure you could use one of those on a moses basket too. Ooh just had a look and you can, here's a link:
