LOL. Well, if bean turns out to be the 9.5 lb whopper they are predicting, all my newborn stuff is going to get a very brief usage, if any at all- some of the NB is to 9lb only!

a tip for you guys if you are looking for second hand baby stuff try asking on the parenting thread. i asked if anyone had some next sleepsuits they wanted to sell and got loads of responses! Much cheaper than ebay too!!

Thanks for the tip. I have joined Middlesexforsale page on FB(sure theres something similar for your area there). And have just bought 9 brand new next sleepsuits for £15:T Off to collec tthem this afternoon.

i was just looking at dd3's red book and she was 4 months old when she was 9lb

OMG it was hard to get up for work today, I'd got into the habit of 10am lie ins - DH was on lates so was getting in at 3am so would wake for him to wake up.

I ahve 25 days in the office this yearm with a couple of days holidays on Fridays to keep me down to 4 day weeks, I am really counting the days until Thursday 9th Feb which is my last day. I have 11 days of holiday booked and maternity leave officially starts on 26th Feb.

In between it is going to be hell though, month end, year end and training my replacement who already has been binned and a new one is coming in for a working day trial on Thursday :eek: apparently the first person sent an abusive email to the recruitment agency so they pulled them. Hoping this guy doesn't show up in the morning expecting a job!!!

DH, who has no idea of how the private sector works, said if it was getting too much I will simply have to get signed off. I tried to tell him it didn't work like that and I can't see the GP saying "oh yes, having a tough time? Here let me sign you off until your maternity leave starts"

Right, am showered and dressed, soup is simmering, have just had a sandwich and am now sitting down with a coffee and have opened the tin of M&S shortbread MIL gave us for Christmas... Yummy!

Hugs Icey! That was how I felt at the beginning of December! The 9th of Feb will come around soon enough... I just coped by taking one day at a time.

Lovecrafting, my DD3 was born that weight lol! She had rolls upon rolls, and DH wanted to call her Lily, but i just couldnt see how this hefer of a baby could have the name of a delicate flower lol! ( i really wanted Ruby, but she had red hair and eyebrows so couldnt really!)
Mmm, shortbread, which one is it?? We had the London Bus tins from M&S and they were LUSH shortbread!! Yummy! xx

we called dd3 lilly. she was so tiny and delicate. she still is tiny to be honest, she is average weight for a four year old but taller than her cousin who is six and almost as tall as dd2 who is seven. just looked at her, and to think she was only 3lb, she has grown so much. mind you dd1 was less than a pound and now is a right chunk.

i really should think about getting ready, my apointment is at 2pm and i havent even straightened my hair, not that i care, with what the mw is intending to do she is lucky i am going at all
