It's their 'all butter Scottish shortbread', far too tasty! Really need to try not and eat the whole tin... Failing miserably so far!

Morning all, don't really have much to say today. Had a bad night with the wind, went to sleep at 10, OH put the heating on, I woke up and thought I was dying, was so warm. Couldn't get back to sleep after that while he was snoring beside me

Mmm shortbread, I have an amazing recipe for the tastiest shortbread ever if anyone wants it, it's easy too :D

    225g plain flour
    100g cornflour
    100g icing sugar
    225g butter

bung it all in a food processor and mix until you have dough, roll it out and cut your shapes out, I tend to do mines thickish, too thin and they will burn.

15-20 minutes at 180. Keep an eye though as all cookers are different. When they look golden-ish take them out and cover in sugar (nice and healthy) they will be pretty soft, but they harden pretty fast.

I'd use greaseproof paper if you have it.

The ingredients seem weird btw and like they'l taste average but they really don't, one of the nicest pieces of shortbread I've ever tasted.

EDIT: If you have an up to date cooker fan etc I'd say 170, been a while since I made these but thinking how quick they cooked

Hi ladies, has anyone done the Mothercare price match thing? I bought the Angelcare monitor yesterday in store for £79.99 and have just noticed it is £69.88 on line with Tesco. It tells you how to claim money back if you have bought on line but does anyone know what you do if you bought it in store, do you still just call the same number with your till receipt details? Thanks :0) x
