  • Well they've kept their promise and refunded the interest they shouldn't have charged me. Only problem is, they've done it twice, so have refunded me twice as much as they should have done. God, the ineptitude is staggering.

Any excuse to moan about Barclaycard I guess! Personally I'd be happy and keep quiet about it.

I have this this quite alot with companys I pay by DD. They credit the account before they actually claim the dd. In particular the utility company Im with credit my account by about the 24th of the month but payment is not due to leave my account until the 1st of the month.
  • Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy to have free money off barclaycard. I reckon they owe me at least as much money as they've over-refunded as they should owe mefor my time and phone calls. It won't work like that though, will it ? I now actually owe them £12, which won't be taken by my direct debit, and at some point they will try and charge me interest on the basis of their error unless I get it sorted out. I'm not going to mess up my credit record for the sake of £12.
  • Am I the only one whose cashback is still wrong today?

    Hello all,

We are currently working through a number of queries related to the Egg transition and our teams are working hard to resolve these as quickly as possible.

Due to regulation and customer security, we can’t address the individual queries and concerns contained in this thread, but would ask that you continue to use our existing customer support channels and also the FAQs on our site.

Nope, it's wrong here too. Just sent them a secure message about it.

Well i thought my transfer had gone very smoothly...until now!

My DD was due on Friday (11th) and this is showing that it has been collected in full according to Barclaycard. However i have looked at my bank account and no DD has been taken - nor is there anything "pending"!

I have spoken to Barclaycard and just keep getting told that the money is showing as paid, and they have no answer when i tell them that according to my bank it has not been! They just keep repeating that it is on their system as paid and not to worry about it!

Has anyone else experianced this? I am worried that when they eventually realise that their system is wrong they will sting me for late payment charges/interest and mess up my credit rating!
