Egg to Barclaycard Transition Update

Does anyone know when you can register your online account or is that also the 7th ??

Just received email saying



To access your account online you’ll need to launch mybarclaycard by going to barclaycard.co.uk/egg We’re expecting the first few days after 7th November 2011 to be very busy, so to ensure everything runs smoothly for you, we’ve allocated you a preferred time to launch mybarclaycard:

Launch your account for online servicing on: Wednesday 9th November 2011

Of course, if you need to access your account before this date, you can launch your account at any time from 7th November 2011

Carry on using your Egg Card and managing your account through egg.com as normal – from 4th November 2011 we’ll be moving your account to mybarclaycard and a significantly reduced level of service will be available on egg.com With this in mind, you should make all payments and account updates before this date

i just received this so now im confused, will just try on the 4th then if not after

Will the egg money manager facility still be available when egg move to barclaycard.I use it a lot it is really useful to see all my accounts in one place?

The 7th is the earliest you will be able to register.

No it will not.
Alternatives are the people who provide the software to egg and fd

I've got Tuesday 8th.

Sounds like they know the system will be overloaded.
