If anyone needs to "mule" now, see my post in the Stoozing section.

I had no problem muling 7.5k at the end of June this year on Egg Money.

Yes, but there will probably be a problem from 7th November as it will all switch to a new system.

My problem is working out which of the 2 cards that arrived belong to me/wife. Both with same initial and surname. Egg dont know as this is a barclaycard issue, barclaycard wont talk to me until the 7th, brilliant!

My card came attached to a letter saying "Dear Mrs lisyloo".
Didn't yours come with a letter addressed to Mr or Mrs? or are they both on the same account/letter?

Not exactly a financial question, but have any other Londoners noticed that the new Barclaycard with its contactless "paypass" technology is interfering with their oyster card?

I've tried to separate the cards so they are as far away from each other as possible in my wallet (and oyster card is closest to the reader), but I still end up having to physically remove the oyster card from my wallet and scan it, which I never had to do before, otherwise I dont get through the barriers.

Maybe I could get a card without this annoying aded extra "feature"?

Pop it in the microwave for ten seconds on high IMHO.

Its possible that the card reader picks up the CC first, and its taking a couple of seconds to validate it, causing you problems at the gate.

Assuming you both have different pin numbers it may be easiest to find which is which at a cash machine (I think you can cancel and not take any cash).

we havnt opened our pin numbers yet.......dont think I have even looked to see how they are addressed :-(

Yes, I think you are right, I had feared that would be the case, would be going to cashpoint to reset pin anyway but now will have to take 2 cards and pins and play around. It really shouldnt be this hard...I mean barclaycard have been in this business for a few years so they should have better processes in place
