Boo to your bad day, hoping tomorrow is a much better one x
Managed a NSD but only because I didn't go post office, will go in the morning.
Feeling a bit ikky at the mo but OH has got an apple pie in the oven, I'm sure I'll manage a piece!

So bit of a stalemate on the debt busting front today no spends or payments. Will check acc's tomorrow morning and see what payments can be made.

    good morning everyone! :j
pay day today and ive no wages left already! (no joke) :(
deep breath.... onwards and upwards, i vow that in a year or two i will not be in this position.

to be fair, my position is not dire. everythings paid, no red letters, overpaying cc, food on table etc etc etc. BUT things could be better, i could have surplus funds, decent savings, have no debt, not worrying about money, be out of the overdraft......

anyhoo back to reality.... paid 100.00 water bill (only 269.92 left to pay, thats what i get for opting to pay it yearly!!! will pay in monthly DD installments next year)
paid 60.00 on vanquis (about £4ish over the minimum, cant afford any overpayments whilst im bashing capital one, and cant manage to split the overpayments between the two, my poor head would be too confused!:rotfl:)

dont have anymore manual payments to make this month as everything else comes out by DD.
think me and DD will have a sofa day today and avoid any costly trips to the shops, will need to go out later to mil's as DD will be staying over so i think we will venture out about 4.00-4.30 so OH can meet me there when he finishes work at 5.00.
DD has finished nursery for half term week , so will have to plan an inexpensive week next week to keep her occupied, im thining cake baking and trips to the park :money:

going to be a really good girl this weekend and try and stop my cards from throwing themselves in thoses nasty chip and pin machines:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    have a nice day all!

    Good grief I'm so tired!!
Didn't quite manage the low spend/no spend weekend I wanted, I forgot it my turn to buy the shopping so that has cleared me out! I literally do not have a penny. If I need to buy something I'll have to put it on the cc and pay it back on thurs.

Well me and OH had a bit of a shock on fri, a girl who shares the same landlord as us Got intouch to say would we like to swap houses! The houses are the the same size etc but in terms of location our is better for her and vice versa.
We would need to contact landlord on Monday to check this is allowed but it's all very exciting. Too be fair we have done alot to the house with a view to buying it but we are just thinking cut our losses, move, Start again. And we can always buy the new house in years to come. OH is understandably very nervous as he hates any big decisions ( I am more of a bull by the horns kind of gal!) but the location is much better for him and its close to all his family.

This will then have a knock on effect on my debt free date as we won't be applying for a mortgage in 2013. So yes my credit file will be clean, the defaults will be gone, no late payments. But there is not the same sense of urgency to clear the loan. I am still going to push to clear it in 2013 but if it takes me 6 months longer then it's no biggie.

I hate making plans in my head when I don't know answers for sure, I am trying to not get too excited and need to wait till Monday to speak to the landlord. If we have to stay here it's not ideal and not the end of the world but if we can move then fantastic, I can't wait.

    Morning mse'rs
The house move is off the cards! I called the landlord this morning and apparently the other party hasn't been a tenant for long enough. Me and OH are fine with this as we are happy enough where we are anyway.
So back to plan A of decorating! And debt busting!
Had to put 20.00 on my cc yesterday for petrol but OH gave me the cash back when we got home, so a trip to the bank today is needed to deposit the cash and pay the cc ASAP.
Oooh the ppi on my loan should be cancelled today Wonder how much that will reduce the loan by???? Im not holding my breath for a huge amount, any amount is better than nothing. Still trying to get my head around why i only took a 5 year ppi policy out on a ten year loan.
The loans charges are costing me an extra 30.00 per month on top of the loan so hopefully the ppi will clear most of these charges.
    Todays plans are...
    Go to the bank
    Visit the sister!
    Visit the mother!
    Tidy up
Do a fun activity with DD

As silly as it sounds 'tidy up' is a high priority today, there is not much mess but yesterday I could feel myself becoming really low and stressed (kind of at the point where I start thinking what's the point) and I couldn't even bring myself to post on my diary before bed, and the diary is really important to me now as it's keeping me on the straight and narrow. So if I organise my surroundings I normally get a little boost to keep my finances in order.
On a more positive note I have applied to college!! Hoping to hear back soon

Hoping everyone has a nice day

    P.s forgot to add...
I checked my credit file yesterday and historically I have been a nightmare for missed/late payments, however, I have not paid late on the loan for over a year, not paid late on the mobile for over 2 years and the cc's all have 2 late payments each all in May and June this year ( but that was only because I was in an accident) do overall I really do think my attitude to money is changing
