    hi guys,
thanks everyone for popping in x
didnt manage to get any work bits yesterday, i dont seem to be able to part with more than 9.99 for a single item:rotfl:.
i too am in an office thats not in the public eye so need smart/casual stuff. would be ten times easier if it was just suits or uniform, desparate for suff though so will definatley get it this week.

all my ebay bits sold last night, will parcel them all up tonight and post tomorrow, all proceeds will be kindly donated to capital one:money: didnt manage to list 4 more items so will do that tonight.
We need a teeny tiny bit of shopping today, mainly bread, milk and a few treats. OH cant survive if there are no snacks in the house, will wait for him to finish work and see if he wants to go to mr t.

Car is on the red but trying to avoid going the petrol station, i hate the petrol station its too cold to be standing around putting petrol in the car AND it costs a fortune :mad::mad:

anyway, best get my face on and get DD to nursery!

hope everyone has a nice start to the week

    love yellow xx

  • Hi Yellow,
When you put your items on ebay will you set them to finish on Sunday night? I think you can select the number of days you list them and you get a better price on a Sunday night.

Do you think OH's are just lazy and thats why they like snacks...because they can't be bothered to make anything? I do ha ha.

have procratinated all morning and now im back on here!!
quick update and then im switching the laptop OFF!!!

just got off the phone to the loan people, called them to check whats going on with this ppi cancellation thing. apparently they have until the 24th october to cancel it and i will recieve written notification of how much will be refunded to me after the 24th.
any amount refunded will go towards paying the charges i have on the loan. (oh and apparently i only had a 5 year ppi policy, the loan is for 10 years !!!!!!!!) pointless or what.
will have to have a dig around in my paperwork.
asked abount making overpayments as this is my intention once CC's are gone. they allow overpayments (good) they have to be x2 the amount of a monthly payment (hmmmm, okayyy) and i have to give one months notice to make an overpayment or i will be charged (!!!!!!!!!) i hate this loan, i need my head examined for even signing up for it, sooo many restrictions its stupid!
worked out i have 75 more payments left and i am paying an extortionate amount of interest.
    soooo long term plans
clear capital one... almost half way there
    clear vanquis by march
make 4 overpayments per year to loan, 1 per quater to keep it simple. start saving in march and make 1st payment in june, then every 3 months thereafter. would love to pay 800.00 every 3 months hopefully should be doable
will need a separate savings account for this so will set one up in the new year.

feeling a tad more motivated now, going to update sig now (3 days early, oh well!) and get a move on

    Morning everyone!
Quick update, listed a few more items on eBay last night, pennies made are still going towards capital one.
Made a payment of 25.00 towards said CC.
Not much to do today except potter around the house and visit MIL.
Do not need to buy anything today so should be a NSD!!

Have a lovely day guys x

    Well managed a NSD today
Feel very fidgety at the moment as I really want to throw some more cash at cap1 but dont have any spare at the moment!
2 of my eBay items have bids so hopefully they will sell for a decent amount.
Can't believe how close I am to being sub 18k! Can't wait until the end of the month and I'm in the 17's!!

    hi yellow

hope u your doing good on your journey to being DF!

Just wanted to persuade you away from shopping for work clothes for teh time being:D

u say buttons have fallen off!the baby clothes u have to recycle can you not take a few buttons and repair.aslo u can change teh buttons on cardis nad make them look different.

r u crafty (i.e as in art;))-can u not get a ribbon and do a simple flower on your tops!

just need a bit of material-make a neck tie, add that to an outfit!

wear the clothes in combinations that u have not done before!they will look difffernt!

hang in there-and wait till sales!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi Yellow,
Well done on your NSD and good luck on your sub 18k!

£430.28 is a fab reduction...stick at it but remember not to try and over pay too much as you will end up dipping into your buffers. In my early debt busting days I used to massively over pay CC's to see them coming down and then end up putting back on again as left my monthly budget short.

    You're doing great xx
