Still feeling a tad low and edgy (shrugs shoulders) haven't a clue why and can't shake the feeling.
Determined not to fall off the wagon on the debt free front.:money:
Decided that as I started my diary on the 14 sept I will update signature 14 oct and the 14 every month.
Quite looking forward to updating it each month.
Overall for sept I think I have achieved a fair bit will have an accurate picture when I do my sums and update siggy:j
Capital one has increased slightly as I made a purchase for OH and was best to pay by cc but over all debt has decreased.
Still plodding with eBay made 40.00 in total just putting 4 things on per week on a Sunday night. As it was free listing last weekend I put slightly more expensive things on so hoping for a good ending this Sunday all eBay proceeds will now be going to clear capital one until it has gone. Also thinking about doing PAD towards the card to try and clear it faster.
Best go and wake DD up she is still fast asleep! Lazy so and so :rotfl:LBM 14/9/11. Aqua paid off!

Watchers on all eBay items on bids as yet though.
Had a realisation that i haven't included my current account in my total. I have a 400 overdraft this was a manageable amount when I worked full time However, now I'm part time I'm constantly in it. 300 of it is interest free so after Christmas I want to reduce the overdraft by 100.00LBM 14/9/11. Hi Yellow,
You are doing really well, once you get your mind set into not spending it becomes more addictive than spending...says she who went out and blew a fortune at the weekend ha ha. I do feel guilty though but it was fun.
I too have a 3 year old DD, she has just turned 3 and will start free nursery place in January, it would have been now but as she is already in nusery it is cheaper for me to keep her there and start school foundation class next year...she is still 28th on the list of the school I really want her in out of 56 places (fingers crossed).
You're doing well making £40 on ebay, have you got clothes you could sell which DD has grown out of or are you keeping hold of them just in case? I try to put 10 a week on but I find the only things that sell are Ted Baker and Mamas and Papas.
Good luck on your journey

Thanks for posting livvyloo
Yes it's most of the baby's old stuff I've been selling on eBay, I've found gap and next clothes and Clarks shoes get alot of interest.
I've bags and bags of stuff to list and the moment I'm listing 4 things every Sunday.
My sister kept her boys at their private nursery until they started reception as the school they go to doesnt have a nursery, she also found it easier for work etc.
DD wouldnt be going if it wasn't for MIL doing school run when I'm in work.
Your right about the being afraid to spend syndrome! It's like ive gone from one extreme to the other!!LBM 14/9/11. Aqua paid off!

Morning all,
Feeling slightly happier this morning, cannot wait to finish my shift at work today and have a few days off.
Made a small PAD to capital 1 today 3.98:rotfl: suppose it all helps!
Balance is about 430.00 on that at the moment so not to bad considering it has last months interest on (and the rate is horrendous:eek:) and the purchase I put on it for OH.
I am hoping by the end of the month it is at least 350.00, I'm quite optimistic i can do it.
Still no interest applied to aqua for last month, looking forward to them calculating it so I can cancel the card;)
Not sure what the plans are for this weekend, can't really do much with this weather:(
Hope everyone has that Friday feeling and has a great weekend.

No Idea why I'm up so early on a Sunday?? Never mind!
Done a bit of Xmas shopping yesterday with OH, was quite enjoyable to have a nice stroll around town together choosing things for DD.
I never spent to much and didn't waste any money:money: so was quite pleased with myself, hoping to have all her toys bought by the end of October.
On the money spending front I do really NEED to spend some money as I'm desperate for work clothes, I've had a sort through my work stuff and some of it is shocking, some tops are older than DD!!!!:rotfl: I think I'm going to allow myself 4 new work outfits and bin most of the old stuff. No wonder I'm feeling low, I'm walking round in trousers with missing buttons and tops were the elastics falling to bits! my mission for today is to find work stuff as cheaply as poss, thinking tesc* or new l*ok????

hi yellow! well done on your progress so far! i bought a nice pencil skirt from new look for £12 (full price) a few months back, still looks good! they also had cheap trousers as well! i dont find tops that cheap in new look but if your are going today then they have big sale on. i got a nice blouse and smart top for £9 and £7. do you have a matalan near you? they do some great stretch tshirts for about £4, just plain in lots of colours. they look very smart with a skirt and cardi:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

Hi Yellow,
I updated my works wardrobe last week, I got some nice dresses from New Look which are a bit short but with thick black tights they look lovely. They have some nice stuff and pre MSE days I wouldn't have dreamt of shopping there.
I too need a clear out, I have lots of clothes older than DD but its difficult to know what you could keep to go with the new things you buy, I found a shirt I have had ages and it goes lovely with new dress...I felt happy to have resurrected something.

Hi Yellow
Just been reading through your diary, well done with not spending much when out Christmas shopping.
Asd* and T*sco have some nice work stuff, so does M*talan. I get work stuff from M&S, it's a bit more expensive but lasts longer than N*w look, you can often get quite good prices on trousers etc, it's the full suits or fancy dresses that are quite expensive.
Good luck! xJune 2007 Debt: £16,000

Hi , i am also desperate for work clothes and really resent spending money on work stuff i wish we had uniform. Usually i get £6 trousers for mr t and £6 jersey t shirt type tops. Depends on job i think. We are in an office not in public eye x0
