Ppi cancellation letter posted! That should knock a couple of thousand off the loan:j
Happy today as it's 6 yrs since I have had my ccj so that should drop off my credit file.
Only have 2 defaults left on there now, 1 drops off April 2012 and the last one drops off january 2013.
Cannot wait to have a clean credit file and qualify for good deals or 0% offers.
This cc debt would be finished alot faster if it was 0%. ah well that's the price I pay for being a fool with money

hi all,
checked credit score this morning and the dreaded ccj is gone!:j soo happy feel like it has been there forever!
however, my credit score is still poor , one of the issues on there was that im not registered to vote. so will post my electoral registration today, that may improve it a little
still have the 2 defaults on there the next one coming off april next year and i am also using 72% of my available credit! that needs to change.
overtime wage not as good as i thought it would be but will try and overpay what i can tomorrow.
want to try and clear as much of the aqua card as i can this month. one of my ebay items has bids and 2 others have watchers, they end on sunday so anything made there will go towards the cards.
will also list 4 more items on sunday will try and make it a regular weekly thing.

Good morning all:)

Feeling very positive today, been making some mental changes in the way I think about debt.
Since I moved out 3 yrs ago I have never changed addresses from mums regarding bank accounts and and credit cards.
So this past week I have...
Changed 2 cc's to my address
Gone on the electoral role
Will phone last cc company tomorrow to change address (can't do it online and they not open today)
Will do my bank accounts when I go into town next week.
I have never been brave enough to do this before, didn't want OH knowing what I owed but now I am dealing with it I don't care if he knows, it will be gone soon anyway:D
Still not brave enough to tell him about the extent of the loan though:o

Nevertheless this is a step in the right direction and am sooo glad I'm dealing with my debts.
Also on a positive note I have paid all but 100 on the smallest cc! Will definitely be gone by the first week of oct!:j
Then I'll start on the dreaded cap 1

Still not heard anything in response from my loan ppi cancellation letter but it's still early days

Goals for the week...
Try to have at least 3 nsd
Spend NO money in work unless it's charity day
Change all addresses on cc's and bank acc's
Keep house spic and span (after today's deep clean!!)

The above should be pretty manageable provided I keep up with my sudden burst of organisation:D
Today all I am going to do is clean and wash, weather looking ok so should get alot pegged out.
Need to pop to shops after taking DD to nursery, need cereal, washing up liquid and a new mop. Will set a budget if 20.00 for today if I can manage that then it will be a triumph considering the shop I am going sells EVERYTHING and I always find lots I NEED:rotfl: so will be a good girl today and only take 20.00.

Oooo forgot to add I am weighing up the pros and cons of buying some stuff from debenh*ms (yes I have been over to the grabbit board!!)
They have some good discounts and if I get a pair of boots I've got my eye on I can put them away for Xmas..., I know I won't get them any cheaper around Christmas
My fear is one little splurge/personal spend will knock me off track... Will have to have a think about it...hmmm...

Quick update for the week have almost cleared the small cc just waiting for the interest to go on and then I'll clear.
Loan people have my ppi cancellation letter but apparently it takes them 30 days to cancel???:mad: why so long ????
Anyway they are going to pay the pip off the charges I have on the loan which are about 1800 and are costing about 20 per month in interest so hopefully my monthly loan payments should reduce quite a bit, excited about this as it's the loan that's currently crippling me, Its such a high proportion of my wages.
Had a good week spending wise and a nsd yesterday.

Spent 40.00 on shopping, getting delivered tomorrow morning from mr t. However, OH paid ballet fees which were 40.00 so I have saved money there.
Got plenty of shopping for work/school lunches and snacks so that should do us almost 2 weeks.

Well my sudden burst of positivity has ended feeling very low at the moment and I don't know why:(
Managed to almost complete my to do list except go to the post office which I will do tomorrow
Really hope I snap out if this mood pretty soon
