Really looking forward to tonight, it should be lots of fun.
    Today's plans are....
    Do DD a packed lunch
Go somewhere cheap to stock up fridge (Iceland??)
    Take DD to nursery
    Clean bathroom
Lend an ear to sister, she's having a spot of bother and I know she'll want a chat.

Should be able to keep spends to a minimum today I'm thinking of allowing 20.00 maximum for fresh fridge bits??
    Let's call this a challenge!!

Last night was really fun, ate lots and DD had a ball.
Managed to do all of my list yesterday, when I mentioned to OH the fridge was bare he told me to do online shop as it's his turn to pay so ordered from mr t and that's coming this morning between 8-10.
I'm going the cab today, strangely excited! Hopefully this stupid saga will be well on the way to getting sorted.
    Plans for today...
Go cab, dad will drop DD at nursery
    Change DD bed
    Put a wash on
Bank DD's loose change and transfer to OH
Sort all stuff for this stupid 1100 bill into it's own file.

    That should keep me busy

Shopping has arrived, just about to put my face on.
Inspired by my list of things I have been having a think about things I want/where I want to be in 12 months time...

To have paid off half of my debt(or more!)
To have a healthy emergency fund
To have progressed in my job
To have finished decorating the house
To have a clean credit file
To have less clothes than I have now, but all of them wearable!!
    To have no cc's
To have no tat around the house/stop hoarding carp!!
    To be straight with OH
To think seriously about having baby no 2 if It hasn't already happened

Very exciting to think that it is actually doable if I continue on the path I'm on now!!!

Feeling a bit down after all my messing around with the cab today, appealed the 1100 debt so just gave to wait and see what happens now.
Feeling very taught and stressy I think I just need a full day to myself, every time I am off work mum, dad, sister, best friend or OH want me to do something, go somewhere, help them with something... And that's on top of doing all my own stuff. I could scream!!!!

Managed another NSD today, need petrol though as car running on fumes again! Will put a tenner in tomorrow and hopefully that will be my only spend.
Happy with my 2 NSD this week am aiming for 4 though!
Planning on blitzing house from top to bottom this week as there is clutter in every corner, Its driving me mad.

Oooh I hate going to bed in a nark!
    Night all

I'm so highly strung today I really need to snap out of it, going to try my best and chill.
Put 10.00 in car, don't have much travelling to do so that should do a couple of days.
Bank acc looking ok-ish, think I can list on eBay this weekend so will get some bits on there.
May go into town on fri with sister so will try and get Xmas presents on the cheap

Pad of 22.05 this morning to cap 1, probably could of done a bit more but as I'm going Into town tomorrow I've left a bit extra in the bank acc.
Nothing much to do today other than tidy up the kitchen as I left a sink full of dishes ladt night!! Oops!
Still feeling a but dejected but not dwelling on it, am seriously considering working full time again due to the money situation,,, decisions decisions.
I am finally Past the half way point with cap 1 so that's encouraging, think that should deffo be gone by Xmas, yey!!
    Have a nice day

hi yellow! you are doing really well with the PADs! cant wait to see your new balances!

I already work full time and still have credit cards... sometimes i think the more you have the more you spend! although if you 'promise' youself to put all the extra cash into repaying the debt then of course its beneficial! difficult decision to make especially with a little one.

    have a good day!

Thanks lianne, I'm going to tot up my totals a week Monday, will be nice to be sub 18k, will have to work at getting sub 17k ASAP!!
Re the working hours thing, it would be hard to work full time again, could only do it if they gave me suitable daytime shifts though.
I've done it before, when DD was a new baby and it was hard but we had no routine or structure. House was a mess, finances in a mess, huge debts, red letters, I forgot to pay bills/insurances you name it!!
If I went full time I would need a rota for sure and we would HAVE to stick to it. We would need to do an awful lot of forward planning.
Although im alot more organised these days i would need to have a serious think about it as work would never let me go back part time again....

    Xx

  • Hi Yellow,
I work full time and DD has just gone 3, I have been full time since she was 6 months. If you have structure and plan its not too bad, I have a cleaner for three hours one day a week and thats my reward for working.

I think now you are where you are with your finances and you have had your LBM you won't go back to being in a mess again...I think you spend less at work too!
