Oooo on another note, my ex brother in law got in touch yesterday (my sisters ex hubby) to ask if I wanted to go out for a drink with him:eek::eek::eek:. He and my sister divorced 11 years ago and havent seen much of him since but he is back in the area now. Decissions decissions , we always got on really well and she cheated on him not him on her so ......um um um um do I or dont I . Last thing I want to do is upset my sister, but she has moved on and is married again , but I think that she might get the hump if I go for a drink. ITS NOT FAIR
Stressing over, hope you all have a lovely day today:)[/QUOTE]

Beth; what a horrible thing to happen. I'd feel like storming up there and ripping someone's head off. The police really ought to know, do you think the hospital that your DD's friend went to might inform some authority. This person should be stopped, if they get away with it who knows what they might try next time.
All love to you and your DD.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Just wonering if there are any Dr's or Nurses on here who could put our minds at ease
we are beyond ourselves with worry, having said that DH is flat out, it's been a long day for him. So I must wake him up so we can go to bed.

Beth, I think the hospital could only contact the police if they have a diagnosis of something that was a deliberate act to harm, but if they have been deliberately poisoned with anything they should be contacting the police themselves anyway, the uni has a duty of care to their staff, and should be erring on the side of caution until the test results are there, at times like these confidentiality can be a terrible thing! If it was me I would be phoning them
Easy for me to say, but try not to panic, it may be nothing serious!RIP Iain
