Islandmaid: no, you're not the bad guy love, just the guy stuck in the middle. My DS1 is adopted and I can now confess that at times I used to fantasise that his birth mother would appear at the door and demand him back, when I would produce my surly, confrontational DS and happily hand him over. I wouldn't of course because in spite of eveything I love him to bits. I think the African tribes who used to send their boys off into the jungle to grow into men, had the right idea.
Uolypool: Yeah. Of course it would be considered abuse, although it seems OK for them to abuse us. If we treated our animals the way our teenagers treat us sometimes we'd be prosecuted.

Definitely agree with Shalva, it's lovely when they have passed that stage but I wouldn't go through it again for all the tea in China. Take heart Mum's of teenagers, you'll have a lovely relationship with them again.

    Hi all,
I am not posting OS but need to rant, something I have never ever done on here before. WARNING ..................

DH came home from doing DD1's bathroom floor and said "DD1 and 3 other Tutors have been poisened at work. She works in a Uni in Bath. DD1 and 3 other Tutors had coffee, One of the Tutors said "Does the coffee taste a bit strange or is it just me?" DD had drank half a mug of hers, she didn't pick up on the strange taste as she has a cold. She then drank a bit more and agreed.
The 3rd Tutor started to feel burning in her thoat. DD and the other 2 started feeling a bit unwell, they went to the Med centre in the Uni, the Nurse told them to go to the hosp and were seen straight away.
The staff said they must have the kettle and DD1's half full mug to test to see what it could be, the Caretaker of the Uni took it to the hosp They are testing it.
I am absolutely Bl00dy furious  that the Uni deceided it wouldn't be good for the Uni if the police were called. !!!!!! are they thinking?
I phoned DD1 after DGD had gone home, ( I had DGD so DD2 could go to M/wife app) DD1 is feeling sick, her throat is burning, her lips are numb and she has a headache. Who could do such a thing, not knowing the outcome, is it a joke they thought they were playing? FGS one of the Tutors is 6 mths pregnant, what the 'Kinhell is wrong with some people.
Rant is over on here, but I am so s0dding angry.
Thank you for putting up with my anger, I'm still f...ing furious.
I told DD1 to phone the Police but she is afraid of upsetting the Uni 9ickhead and loosing her job.
  • OMG its not fair to talk about teenage horrors when I'm pregnant... didn't take long for DS to get to 9, when this baby is 9, DS will be 18... I could cry x

  • Bethabee, if I were you, I'd ring the police... I think its horrific that the uni didn't do it right away... that poor pregnant woman must be so worried. Do they know what it was?

  • Btb that is awful, the uni has a duty of care to their staff, and that means not concealing a crime, its possible the hospital will need to report it anyway, maybe one of our ex nurses or julieill know. Sending all the positive vibes I have to her. Could you call the police, as a 'concerned citizen'?

No Julie G, and JackieG they wont get the tests back for a while. I want to phone the Police but don't want to put DD' job at risk. She is so scared, she is going to text her preg friend tomorrow, she did speak to her, her friend went to the hosp at 7pm because she was so worried.
Again I'm sorry for swearing but the person that did it is a F00king Sh*t,
Thank G I belive in Karma, what goes around comes around.
    Thanks Hun. x
  • OMG Beth  That is awful, and absolutely disgraceful that the Police haven't been called in.

Positive vibes and (((Hugs))) for DD
