    Morning all,
It's sunny here today and I can see the full moon, think I might get out and do some gardening this morning as I'm having DGD at 1pm. I can't weed when she is here because she likes to help, last time when my back was turned she was pulling the flowers out.
BM & WM on, packed DH his lunch as he's off to lay lino in DD1's bathroom and put some shelves up.
Y/day I sorted through my clothes and have bagged up all the stuff that's to big for me now so I'll take the bags to the CS. and shop for fresh veg.
I've loads of apples so DGD can help to make apple cake and a crumble. Dinner will be Chops, with cauli leek and broccoli cheese bake and pots.

LOU & UOLYPOOL, Hope you're feeling better.
ADELIGHT, How did DH get on with his interview.
KIMSMUM, I bet your face was a picture seeing your DS, what a lovely suprise.
FLUTTER, Got me fingers crossed, hope you get the car.
Hope everyone has a great day.

esmf - I remember early morning toilet calls for our pup, can't believe he's 2 and a half now!

    Morning all!

Didnt manage to post yesterday, was busy busy busy. (and went to the pub ;) )

Need to start staying in more, as we're a bit flush this month and i don't want to waste it! But while we've got money i keep topping up the freezer and stores ready for when we're poor in the winter!

I've got chicken defrosted today, so think we will finally do chicken and chorizo pasta tonight!

Need to clean the bathroom today, and just bits. Got lots of clothes to wash, and need to pop to my mum's house for a while.

OH and pup are at work now, I went yesterday and played with the horses at the farm, ohhh i want one of my own! I'm just finishing my coffee then off to work.

ohhh and my grandad is home :) I spoke to him on the phone yesterday, he sounds so happy. I hope we have many more months with him. OH and I are making arrangements to spend a weekend up there when harvest is over.

Love and hugs to you all

    Good morning,

Managed to finish the ironing yesterday, and hoover round. Today will start with a trip to the tip after I've dropped the house elf off at school, then I have the weekly grocery shopping to do. I have a list...I've started stocking up for winter. For the two weeks last winter when we were stuck indoors, I was pleased to have plenty of cat litter for the cats that refused to set paw outside. The house is slowly returning to normal, in spite of the elf having two friends round for tea last night, and me making cakes with them.

Hilstep The elf was like that...didn't bother to walk until 17 months, but goodness me he could talk (and still does).

    Take care all of you
  • Thankyou everyone. DD will be fifteen next month. She has alopecia. Her eyelahes and eyebrows were back with her for three and a half weeks so we thought things were looking up. Just brings you back down to earth with a bump again. She hasn't lost all of her hair, just patches everywhere. They seem to get a little bit of stubble in and then it just falls back out again.
Anyway that has made me feel better now i have got that off my chest. Had better get ready for work.
    Hugs FS xx

    Morning All,

Didn't manage to post yesterday or read so hugs were needed,

Cold damp and wet here so don't see any washing drying outside.
Lots of ebay posting this morning and some pics to take as well.

Tea tonight will be chicken and bacon and leek pie, the great british bake off inspired me to make a pie and its the perfect day for it.

DS and GF will be packing an extra case to send back to Australia before they actually set off as they have bought so much stuff:eek: the clothes shopping is so much better here so they have stocked up on loads of summer stuff.

Bought myself a Lis Kelypas book on DH's kindle last night so he is letting me use it:D think he is sick of me moaning and I may get one for Christmas.

I also need to make some cupcakes and will take a few to my brothers tonight who is off work with his asthma, see if I can cheer him up.

    Have a good day all J x

  • Morning All

Lovely morning so I am catching up on washing DS's floordrobe and then I will tackle DD's this afternoon.
DH is trying to sort some more storage for DS because his room is the smallest in the house and that is why it is so hard for him to keep it tidy.

I am having my hair cut at 10am this morning so I am really looking forward to a bit of a pamper.

Suzybloo.....Hand made items are much better quality than a lot of the shop bought tat from abroad ........it is so cheap it falls apart after a couple of washes:eek:.

    Foreversaving (((((Hugs))))) for DD.

Well the house is quiet and I am off for a nice shower and make the most of the peace while I have it :D

    Have good days all x

    morning all

ds slept all night with no probs. went to bed just after 7 and was asleep by 7.30. left him to sleep in this morning and he woke up just after 9 :j i slept well too. this cold seems to be knocking me out. i slept for a while yesterday afternoon too. i woke up and went to rub some vicks on myself but must have nodded off before i did. woke up and again and rubbed my eyes with vicks still on my fingers :rotfl: my eyes were streaming for ages after :o

not a lot going on here. i'm still in bed with ds cuddled up next to me. my throat is feeling odd today. not sore just croaky. my voice has resorted to a squeak. so an easy day to try and shift it before fri.

os wise i need to make a list of bits to away. i did one but ds decided to help and now can only make out the odd word :o:rotfl:

also need to think of some warm breakfasts that ds will eat. its so cold this morning, i feel bad giving him breakfast with cold milk. but he doesnt like porridge or weetabix. toast he leaves until its gone cold... warm milk and shreddies? or is that yuk :o he doesnt like egg or i would give him scrambled egg or something. he would eat a cooked breakfast every morning though :rotfl:

we were sat eating dinner around the table last night and i was still sneezing. ds turned around to me and "oh mummy, stop!" :o:rotfl::rotfl:

hope everyone is well and has agood day.

Morning Ladies, The wind has finally dropped:j chilly here but the sun is up and a blue sky.Today is dd 14th birthday, she got up in such a foul mood, really stressing Only opened half her pressies, then stropped off upstairs to get ready for school.Waited for her to go out the door and switched on laptop to check what time she was on facebook till.............4.15 am:mad::mad::mad::mad:. So cross, so birthday or no birthday she will be told once she gets home tonight.Laptop is out of her room and phone and i pod will be handed over when she goes to bed. No wonder she was so stressy this morning.
Now breathe..................Must make a cake for her , meant to do it yesterday but just run out of time, will get on with it once finished surfing on here:o;) She is supposed to be going ice skating with some friends for a birthday treat , will let her as its all been paid for , otherwise that would have been knocked on the head.Where has my beautiful little girl gone, her last birthday was lovely , her brothers made it so special, this morning she barely had time to grunt at them.
Dinner today is sweet and sour chicken , using leftover chicken .
Not to much to do , going to help ds2 go through his clothes and stuff so he can decide what to take to uni and what to leave at home.Walk woofer when he decides to get up and thats about all really, house is lovely and clean since they returned to school
Oooo on another note, my ex brother in law got in touch yesterday (my sisters ex hubby) to ask if I wanted to go out for a drink with him:eek::eek::eek:. He and my sister divorced 11 years ago and havent seen much of him since but he is back in the area now. Decissions decissions , we always got on really well and she cheated on him not him on her so ......um um um um do I or dont I . Last thing I want to do is upset my sister, but she has moved on and is married again , but I think that she might get the hump if I go for a drink. ITS NOT FAIR

Stressing over, hope you all have a lovely day today:)

  • Morning everyone,

The sun is shining here and my washing is on the line. It was lovely walking to school this morning feeling the sunon my back rather than battling my umbrella against the driving rain.:D

I am at work at the moment but today is much less busy that yesterday so I might get a chance to catch up on some plaaing and marking rather than taking it all home for a change.

Suzy hope the operation goes well.

    Uolypool get well soon.

Forever Saving hugs for your DD.

Tea tonight is salmon, I love salmon, it is not cheap but it is nice for an occasional treat.

Hugs to all that need them.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)
